Watt opens camp on PUP | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

The Steelers placed OLB T.J. Watt on the PUP list before Friday's opening practice. According to the team website, Watt experienced some hamstring tightness after Thursday's conditioning run. "He may be on for a very short period of time," Tomlin said. "He was able to complete the test. He just expressed some tightness there at the end. So we will do what is appropriate from that standpoint." It doesn't look like IDP owners need to worry about Watt.

Steelers OLB T.J. Watt suffered a groin injury in Sunday's win over the Vikings. He said afterward that he doesn't think it's bad and isn't worried but that we'll know more over the next day or 2, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The Steelers grabbed OLB T.J. Watt with the 30th pick in Round 1. Watt delivered just 1 year of big production at Wisconsin. But he followed that 11.5-sack season with a terrific Scouting Combine. Pittsburgh will have an interesting pass rush in 2017 between Watt and Bud Dupree. We'll see how quickly Watt can work toward a starting role.
