Eagles RB Miles Sanders has been "better than expected" in pass protection in training camp, according to insider Jimmy Kempski. We've heard tons of positive buzz on Sanders as a runner over the past couple of weeks, but this is the 1st time his ability in the passing game has been talked up. Previous reports had RB Jordan Howard looking most reliable in pass protection. Sanders' work in the passing game will be worth monitoring closely this preseason. If he can stay on the field in passing situations, it'd give him a path to top-20 fantasy production.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hamstring) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final Week 2 injury report. He’ll make his 2020 debut on Sunday against the Rams. Sanders carries elevated risk coming off a hamstring injury that lingered for a month. But he should find his way into most season-long fantasy lineups.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders put in a full practice Wednesday. That's obviously a great sign after he missed Week 1 and it falls in line with previous reports that he was on track to play. RT Lane Johnson also practiced in full, so expect him to return against the Rams. WR DeSean Jackson did not practice Wednesday, but the team said it was a planned rest day for the veteran.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that RB Miles Sanders (hamstring) and RT Lane Johnson (ankle) are on track to play Sunday against the Rams. We'll keep an eye on their practice participation throughout the week. An active Sanders will almost certainly belong in fantasy football lineups, though. And a healthy Lane Johnson should be a big help for an O-line that struggled at Washington.

Eagles HC Doug Pederson said Monday that he "hopes" to get RB Miles Sanders (hamstring) back for Week 2. He added that Sanders is "day to day" but is expected to do more in practice this week. We'll see what he's able to do in Wednesday's session.

The Eagles have ruled RB Miles Sanders (hamstring) out for Sunday’s game at Washington. ESPN's Adam Schefter indicated that Sanders has a real chance to return for Week 2. Look for Boston Scott and Corey Clement to get the bulk of the work in the opener, with Scott profiling as a better FLEX option. Note that Clement was added to the injury report on Friday with a quad injury.
