Lions RB Ty Johnson was knocked out of Sunday's game in Chicago with a concussion. His absence leaves Detroit with RBs J.D. McKissic and Paul Perkins.
Andy Vasquez of NorthJersey.com projects RB Ty Johnson as a cut in his admittedly "far too early" 53-player roster projection. "[Tevin] Coleman will likely get the majority of the snaps, but there will be plenty of opportunities for [Michael] Carter and another young back," Vasquez writes. Lions RB Ty Johnson (concussion) is active for today’s game against the Cowboys. He figures to stay in the lead-back role but is a low-upside RB3 in fantasy lineups.
Lions RB Ty Johnson has cleared the concussion protocol, according to multiple reports. The team has removed him from the injury report, clearing the way for Johnson to play against the Cowboys. Lions RB Ty Johnson (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That gives him a shot to get cleared in time for this weekend's game against the Cowboys. We'll get another update on his progress tomorrow.
