Jaguars MLB Myles Jack (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Buccaneers. Donald Payne will start in his place, according to the team. It's tough to know whether Payne will take over all of Jack's snaps, and Jack has spent most of this year as a disappointing IDP performer. This is not the time of year for most of us to strongly consider Payne for fantasy lineups.
The Jaguars have ruled OLB Myles Jack (ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Dakota Allen will start in his place. Allen tallied 7 tackles (5 solo) and a QB hit at Houston in Week 5 the last time he filled in for Jack. Jacksonville has also ruled out S Jarrod Wilson. Second-year S Brandon Watson will get his 1st career start in Wilson's place.
Jaguars LB Myles Jack left Sunday's loss to the Lions early after aggravating his sprained ankle. We'll see whether it was a significant setback for Jack or a matter of the team erring on the side of caution late in a lopsided loss. Jack did make it through 75% of the defensive snaps before exiting. We'll watch his participation in practice this week. If Jack misses further time, new acquisition Kamalei Correa looks like the replacement plan -- at least from a playing-time standpoint -- over Dakota Allen.
Jaguars OLB Myles Jack left Sunday's game early with an ankle injury and did not return. HC Doug Marrone said Tuesday that he's "optimistic" about the starters lost to injury against the Bengals but that he'd know more when the practice week begins Wednesday. Dakota Allen came on and finished the game in Jack's spot. He'd likely start in Jack's spot if the latter can't go.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Jaguars will place LB Myles Jack on IR today with the knee injury that cost him Week 13. That should lock in Donald Payne as the MLB starter the rest of the way. Payne racked up 13 tackles against the Buccaneers last week and looks like a high-ceiling IDP option for Week 14 against the Chargers.
Jaguars LB Myles Jack (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a limited Friday workout. Jack has increased his tackle totals lately but spent most of the season as a low-impact IDP. Jacksonville has already ruled out S Ronnie Harrison (concussion).
