Falcons WR Calvin Ridley was knocked out in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Panthers with an abdominal injury. We'll look for more information on his status.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Falcons WR Calvin Ridley will miss the rest of the season with the abdominal injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Panthers. That leaves playing time and targets available for WRs Russell Gage and Christian Blake, though a Week 15 trip to San Francisco leaves us unexcited. A home date with Jacksonville in Week 16 looks more attractive, as does a Week 17 trip to Tampa Bay if your league plays that long.
Falcons WR Calvin Ridley exited for a concussion check in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game against the Seahawks. We'll update his status when we know more.
Update: Ridley returned later in the 4th quarter.
Falcons HC Dan Quinn said Saturday that both WR Calvin Ridley (ankle) and WR Mohamed Sanu (hip) will play against the Giants on Monday night. Ridley practiced on Friday and Saturday and said he feels like his "normal self." Sanu only worked on Saturday. "I feel good, but it's a little [pain] management, too," he said of his bruised hip. "It's definitely going to get better. I mean, it's way better than it was.'' Consider both Sanu and Ridley risk/reward Week 7 fantasy plays.
Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Friday, but WR Mohamed Sanu (hip) remained sidelined. Ridley now seems to have a better shot to play against the Giants on Monday night. We'll get another update on both guys tomorrow.
Falcons WRs Calvin Ridley (ankle) and Mohamed Sanu (hip) did not practice on Thursday. It's a surprise after HC Dan Quinn said this morning that he expected both guys to participate. We'll see if they can get on the field tomorrow, but Ridley and Sanu both look no better than 50/50 for Monday night's game vs. the Giants.
