Williams hurts shoulder | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

Packers RB Jamaal Williams was knocked out of Monday night's game in Minnesota with a shoulder injury. We'll see if he's able to play in this weekend's finale against the Lions. If not, RB Aaron Jones will be locked into a workhorse role.

Recent Shark Bites

Packers RB Jamaal Williams (shoulder) put in a full practice on Wednesday. It's confirmation that he's on track to play against the Seahawks on Sunday. Williams will work as Green Bay's #2 RB, but his return definitely puts a dent in RB Aaron Jones' touch projection.

Packers RB Jamaal Williams (shoulder) returned to practice on Thursday. That would seem to put him on track to play in next weekend's Divisional Round game. In their last 5 healthy games together, Williams has tallied 49 carries and 15 targets to Aaron Jones' 66 carries and 14 targets.

Packers RB Jamaal Williams (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions. That's a big boost for RB Aaron Jones. In the 1 game Williams missed earlier this season, Jones played 67% of the offensive snaps and compiled 182 yards and 4 TDs on 27 opportunities (carries + targets). He's a high-end RB1 for this weekend's plus matchup.

Packers RB Jamaal Williams (shoulder) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play against the Lions this weekend, leaving RB Aaron Jones in a workhorse role. When Williams missed Week 5's game against the Cowboys, Jones popped off for 107 yards and 4 TDs (!!!) on the ground, plus 7 catches on 8 targets for 75 yards.

Packers RB Jamaal Williams (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn't listed on the final Week 6 injury report. He'll return for Monday night's game against the Lions. Williams had basically worked himself into an even timeshare with Aaron Jones before the concussion. Then Jones busted out for 182 yards and 4 TDs with Williams out last week. We're guessing that earns Jones lead duties on Monday night -- but Williams' return still puts a dent in his Week 6 outlook.
