The Jets added Florida RB La'Mical Perine in the 4th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Nothing stands out with Perine’s rushing numbers over his 4 years with the Gators. He never topped 136 carries or 826 yards in a season and averaged 5.0 yards per carry for his career. But he did haul in 72 balls, including 40 this past season. Perine also has good size at 5’11, 216 pounds and earned a solid 51st percentile SPARQ score at the Combine. He’ll battle for snaps behind Le’Veon Bell this season. Bell is signed through 2022, although the Jets can get out of his deal with $4 million in dead cap after this year.
