Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (knee, illness) is active for today’s game against the Chargers. We never heard any concern about his status and expect him to play his usual role in this one.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs was arrested for DUI in Vegas early Monday morning, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez. Jacobs was brought to a hospital for minor injuries after police responded to his 1-car crash. Jacobs' lawyers released a statement saying their client will plead not guilty. "No complaint has been filed against our client and there are no blood test results to support a suggestion of impairment," the statement reads. "We intend to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of Mr. Jacobs if he is ever charged." We'll see where the situation goes this offseason.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) is "dressed out, running around, being active as part of" pregame warmups, according to insider Vincent Bonsignore. So Jacobs was trolling with his social media post? It now looks like Jacobs will play against the Colts, but you can look elsewhere if you want to play it safe.
Despite being active for today's game, Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) posted on Instagram: "Sorry guys I'm not playing today." So it looks like he's active as only an emergency option -- and maybe not even that. Remove Jacobs from fantasy lineups. Vegas will again go with RBs Devontae Booker and Jalen Richard.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) is active for today’s game against the Colts. He only got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said this morning that Jacobs is “nearly at full strength.” Consider him a risk/reward RB2.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) is expected to play against the Colts today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jacobs seemingly made a ton of progress this week after HC Jon Gruden said Monday that he didn't expect Jacobs to play. He only got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, but Rapoport hears that Jacobs is "nearly at full strength." The ankle issue still adds some risk, and the matchup is on the tough side. But Jacobs is worth getting back into most fantasy lineups.
