Chiefs RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That gives him a shot to return for the Super Bowl, although we're not expecting him to play a big role even if active.
Chiefs RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) got in a full practice on Friday and isn't on the final injury report for the Super Bowl. He figures to be 3rd in the backfield pecking order behind Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Darrel Williams.
Chiefs RB Le'Veon Bell missed Thursday's practice with swelling in a knee. His status for Sunday's AFC Championship is now murky. Of course, Bell played just 16% of the offensive snaps last week even with RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire sidelined. It looks like CEH is on track to return on Sunday, so Bell probably isn't in for much work anyway.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Chiefs RB Le'Veon Bell is expected to dress for today's game against the Chargers but that "if he plays, it'll be very little." Bell is questionable with a knee issue and put in only a limited Friday practice this week. Darwin Thompson is expected to get "the bulk of the carries" in the regular-season finale.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Chiefs new RB Le'Veon Bell is expected to split carries with Clyde Edwards-Helaire against the Broncos today after impressing in practice this week. We'll see, of course, exactly how that split works out. We'd certainly keep CEH in season-long fantasy lineups in nearly all cases and consider Bell an option. The situation looks like one to avoid for DFS lineups, though.
Chiefs HC Andy Reid said Friday that RB Le'Veon Bell "could get a couple of snaps" in Sunday's game against the Broncos. "It looks like he’s picking things up well, so I think there’s a chance he's in there," Reid added. Bell can't be trusted in Week 7 fantasy lineups. RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire remains a safe play for at least 1 more week.
