ESPN's Adam Schefter tweets that "signs continue to point to" Patriots QB Mac Jones starting today's game vs. the Giants. The team had not yet been informed of the starting QB on Friday, per Schefter, which seems less than ideal. You should be avoiding this situation in Week 12 fantasy lineups.
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence put forth a tremendous outing in Week 11, completing 24 of 32 passes for 262 yards with 2 TDs vs. the Titans. He also punched in a pair of rushing scores in the contest, making for his best individual fantasy performance all season. Much of Lawrence’s success stemmed from his rapport with WR Calvin Ridley. The wideout accumulated 7 catches on 9 targets for 103 receiving yards and caught both of Lawrence’s TDs. The duo has been hot and cold in 2023, however, and the Jaguars’ upcoming schedule (second-toughest for QB matchups per our adjusted fantasy points allowed) will make both difficult to trust weekly. Fantasy managers should continue to trot Lawrence and Ridley out into lineups, but be wary of the volatile scoring floor they bring.
The Jaguars have ruled CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Titans. Campbell left Week 6 early with the injury. He missed the next two games. Then he returned for Week 10 after the bye and left the game early with the same injury. Campbell then missed practice all week before being ruled out. That doesn't bode well for his Week 12 outlook. We'll see about his status heading into that game.
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence faceplanted against San Francisco, mustering only 185 yards on 17-of-29 passing. He added 2 picks. Christian Kirk went off for 6 grabs and 104 yards, but no other pass catcher reached 30 yards. Through nine games, Lawrence has yet to top 2 passing scores, so it’s no surprise he hasn’t reached 20 fantasy points in a game. Even beyond the tough 49ers matchup, Lawrence will face one of the most challenging rest-of-season QB schedules. He’ll remain outside QB1 range when our Rest of Way Rankings are updated on Monday.
Patriots QB Mac Jones was benched for the final drive of Sunday’s loss to the Colts. Bailey Zappe took over and promptly threw a game-ending INT on his seventh attempt. How’d we get here? Well, Jones posted only 170 yards and 1 INT on 15-of-20 passing. He misfired badly on several throws, including one that should have gone for a late score. Jones also took a season-high five sacks. New England will evaluate its QB options during a Week 11 bye. Note that Zappe targeted Demario Douglas four times in today’s limited action. Overall, the Round 6 rookie led the team across the board with 9 targets, 6 catches, and 84 yards. He's the most reliable piece of a bottom-barrel pass offense and should retain some WR3/FLEX value in PPR leagues, especially with Kendrick Bourne out for the year.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence threw for 292 yards in Sunday's win over the Steelers, his second-largest yardage total of the season. Lawrence managed just 1 TD pass, however, his sixth game among eight with fewer than 2 TDs. Lawrence added just one rush for 10 yards. Lawrence -- who entered the week 16th among QBs in fantasy points per game (depending on your format) -- sat just 12th among QBs in ESPN scoring through Sunday's early games. He gets a Week 9 bye that should provide some welcome rest for his banged-up knee.
Jaguars TE Evan Engram caught all 10 of his targets for a team-high 88 yards in Sunday's win at Pittsburgh. That pushes his season catch rate to 83.6%, nearly 10 percentage points higher than last season. That 74.5% in Engram's first year with the Jaguars set a career high. His 8.5 yards per reception, though, marks a career low -- 2.0 short of last year's mark. Matchups with San Francisco and Tennessee after the Week 9 bye favor passing, which can obviously only help Engram.
Jaguars RB Travis Etienne racked up another 24 carries in Sunday's win at Pittsburgh. He turned that into a mere 79 yards (3.3 per rush), though. That brings Etienne just under 3.9 yards per carry for the season. Etienne gave his fantasy line a big boost with a 56-yard catch-and-run TD. He totaled 3 receptions for 70 yards among 6 targets, third-most on the team. The league's carry leader gets a Week 9 bye, then tough matchups with the 49ers and Titans the following two weeks.
Jaguars RB Travis Etienne suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. He's officially questionable to return. We'll update Etienne's status when we know more. His absence would mean opportunity for RB Tank Bigsby.

Lawrence is listed as questionable, but there was never any doubt about his availability for this one after he played last week. "He feels better this week, but this isn't something that is going to improve overnight and will take some time," Palmer adds. Lawrence gets a Week 9 bye to heal up.

In a shocking turn of events, Patriots QB Mac Jones played competent football on Sunday vs. the Bills. The third-year starter completed 25 of 30 passes for 272 yards with 2 TDs in the upset Week 7 victory. While this performance doesn’t erase the abysmal three-game skid Jones has been on of late, he deserves a lot of credit for stepping up to the plate in this divisional contest. We won’t be super excited to roll him out in Week 8 vs. the Dolphins, but this showing at least puts him within the lower-end of the QB2 conversation in superflex leagues.

ESPN's Adam Schefter adds that, "Lawrence has reported improvement in his mild left knee sprain." We'd still expect his mobility inside and outside of the pocket to be limited tonight. We'll get Jacksonville's inactives a little before 7 pm ET.
