The Jaguars have ruled QB Trevor Lawrence out for Sunday's game against the Panthers. It's not a shock, given that Lawrence's right shoulder injury has kept him out of practice all week. But it will be the first game Lawrence has missed in his three NFL seasons. C.J. Beathard will start against a Panthers defense that's been the fourth-worst matchup for QBs and WRs and second-worst for TE scoring, according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed. Carolina has been a positive matchup for RBs, though. Lawrence's absence can't hurt the opportunity count for Travis Etienne.
