Nov 28, 2020 | Non-NFL | Shoulder | Gibbs injured his left shoulder vs. Duke in 2020 while attending Georgia Tech. He subsequently missed the remainder of the season. |
Nov 12, 2022 | Non-NFL | Pedal Ankle Sprain/Pull Unspecified Grade 1 | Gibbs sprained his ankle in November 2022 vs. Ole Miss while attending Alabama. He went on to miss the next game but returned later that season. |
Oct 6, 2023 | NFL | Thigh Hamstring Sprain/Pull Unspecified Grade 1 | Gibbs' hamstring flared up shortly before Week 5 vs. the Panthers. He subsequently sat out the contest and missed two games in total. |
Aug 12, 2024 | NFL | Thigh Hamstring Sprain/Pull Unspecified Grade 1 | Gibbs suffered the injury in Monday's practice. |
Gibbs started slowly as a rookie, lost two games to injury, and split backfield work with a RB who beat him in carries. And he still ranked eighth among all RBs in PPR points per game. The only problem is that the whole market’s optimistic. That has Gibbs going fourth at the position pretty consistently, and around the 1-2 turn in 1-QB formats. He becomes a better play the further he gets into Round 2.
