The Seahawks expect RB Kenneth Walker III (shoulder) to play Sunday against the Titans. He missed two of three practices during the week before returning to a limited Friday workout. But HC Pete Carroll previously said he expected Walker to be ready. We'll check for confirmation ahead of Sunday's kickoff. Walker gets an upside matchup against a Tennessee defense missing star DT Jeffery Simmons.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (shoulder) only got in a limited practice on Friday this week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. HC Pete Carroll said Friday that Walker is “good to go” for this one, but check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure he’s active.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith (groin) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’s ready to go for Sunday’s game against a banged-up Titans defense. Smith checks in 12th in the Week 16 QB Rankings.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (shoulder) missed practice again on Thursday. It's possible that the team is taking it easy on him on a short week, but it's also possible that Walker's status for Sunday's game vs. the Titans is in doubt. We'll learn more when we get Seattle's final injury report on Friday afternoon.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to come out of Monday night's win over the Eagles okay, so this is likely more of a rest day. We'll see if Walker gets back on the practice field tomorrow.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith (groin) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Titans' 15th-ranked QB defense. See where Smith sits in the Week 16 QB Rankings.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said Tuesday that he expects QB Geno Smith (groin) to have a full week of practice and play vs. the Titans on Sunday. Smith appeared on track to return for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles but suffered a setback during the week. So he's not a lock to be out there this weekend. But we are projecting it to be Smith under center for the Seahawks in Nashville.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker III logged 19 carries for 86 yards and a TD in Week 15’s win vs. the Eagles. The second-year back also added 3 receptions for 26 yards as a receiver in the contest. Since returning in Week 14 after a three-game absence with an oblique injury, Walker III is firmly running ahead of rookie teammate Zach Charbonnet as Seattle’s lead back. In their last two games, he’s out-touched (carries + receptions) Charbonnet 34 to 14 and accounted for an 85.2% snap share of the Seahawks’ early downs in that span. Walker III should again see a hefty amount of work in Week 16 vs. the Titans.

Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba hauled in all 4 of his targets for 48 yards and scored the eventual game-winning TD in Week 15 vs. the Eagles. The rookie has started to heat up over the past three weeks, leading the team in receptions (15) and ranking second in target share (21.8%) and PPR points per game (11.5). Season-long managers should still treat JSN as a deeper league flex option at best, especially as long as QB Geno Smith continues to miss time due to a groin injury. Still, this late-season trend in which he’s pacing teammate Tyler Lockett in usage is an encouraging sign for Smith-Njigba’s dynasty prospects. We'll see if he can maintain this success in a prime Week 16 spot vs. the Titans (fifth-best WR matchup per our adjusted fantasy points allowed).

Both ESPN's Brady Henderson and Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski report that Seahawks QB Geno Smith is not on the field for final warmups. Kempski says "full rosters for both teams" are on the field (without Smith). Henderson says only Drew Lock and Sean Mannion are warming up at QB for Seattle. It sounds like Smith won't quite be ready, though that hasn't been made official yet. We'll keep watching for official word.

Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon (hip) and S Jamal Adams (knee) are inactive for tonight's game against the Eagles. That leaves Seattle's secondary without a pair of starters vs. one of the league's best WR duos and TE Dallas Goedert. Unless Philly QB Jalen Hurts is limited by his illness -- or the team goes run-heavy -- it should be a fine-to-good night for the Eagles' passing game.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith (groin) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Eagles. It’s a surprise after multiple reports over the last 30 hours had Smith unlikely to play. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said yesterday that Smith suffered a setback at some point this week. It’s safe to assume that he’ll be operating at well less than 100% tonight, making him a high-risk fantasy play.

Update: The Seahawks have not yet announced who will start tonight's game. Smith, QB Drew Lock, and QB Sean Mannion are all active tonight. That suggests at least some concern about Smith's ability to make it through the game, assuming he starts. We'll let you know if we hear who's starting before kickoff.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Seahawks QB Geno Smith (groin) is a "long shot" to play against the Eagles tonight. FOX Sports' Jay Glazer had a similar report just before the 1 pm ET games kicked off on Sunday. Smith hasn't been ruled out yet, but "he's gotta improve a lot from now until game time to be able to play," per Rapoport. It'll be QB Drew Lock under center for Seattle if Smith is out. Lock played well vs. the 49ers last week, throwing for 269 yards, two TDs, and two INTs on a 71% completion rate and 8.7 yards per attempt. But he also has three seasons of underwhelming play for the Broncos on his resume. Lock would certainly add some downside to Seattle's offense tonight.

Commanders QB Sam Howell was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Rams. He went 11 of 26 for 102 yards, one TD, and one INT, producing just seven points. QB Jacoby Brissett will finish this one out for Washington. We're guessing that Howell will be back under center next week -- but he gets brutal matchups the next two weeks vs. the Jets and 49ers. You should be looking for an alternative if you've been rolling with Howell as your fantasy starter.

Update: HC Ron Rivera said after the loss to the Rams that Howell remains the starting QB.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Seahawks QB Geno Smith aggravated his groin injury and now has an "uphill battle" to play vs. the Eagles on Monday night. It sounds like we should expect QB Drew Lock to start that one. We're updating Seattle projections now.

The Seahawks list CB Devon Witherspoon (hip) and S Jamal Adams (knee) as questionable for Monday night's game against the Eagles. Each guy missed the entire practice week, though. HC Pete Carroll told reporters he's "hoping" Witherspoon will play. But he gave no further indication of how likely Witherspoon or Adams is to play. if you'd be left with an empty lineup spot, then you should probably go another direction with your IDP lineup today. We'll update both players ahead of Monday's game.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. He was limited in practice all week. HC Pete Carroll on Saturday labeled all his questionable players game-time decisions, but he added that Smith made it through the week with no setbacks, per The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta. We're projecting Smith to play on Monday, but the late kickoff makes it a tricky situation for fantasy owners. We'll look for further updates on Smith's status before Sunday's games kick off.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith (groin) got in a limited practice on Thursday. He seemingly had a chance to play vs. the 49ers last weekend, so we're tentatively expecting him back for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. We'll keep you updated on Smith's status over the next few days.

The Seahawks were forced to start QB Drew Lock against the 49ers in Week 14. That didn’t bother WR Tyler Lockett, though, as led the team with 6 catches and 89 yards. He caught all of his targets. That efficiency was key, as Lock tossed only 31 passes, while the Seahawks fired off just 55 plays. We’ll see if Geno Smith (groin) can suit up next week vs. the Eagles. But there's no denying Lockett's favorable upcoming schedule, which includes the Eagles and the Titans. He looks like a WR3 down the stretch.

Seahawks RBs Ken Walker (oblique) and Zach Charbonnet (knee) are active for today’s game vs. the 49ers. Both put in full practices on Friday, so we’re expecting them to be somewhat close to 100%. Walker figures to resume his role as lead back, but his projection takes a hit with QB Drew lock under center.
