Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said Monday that WR Jaylen Waddle's injury, which was originally announced as a shin, is "more of a high-ankle sprain." If it's a true high-ankle sprain, Waddle will likely miss multiple weeks. We'll look for more on his status, but fantasy owners should plan on being without Waddle in Week 17.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle was knocked out of Sunday's win over the Cowboys by a third-quarter shin injury. He also missed some time earlier in the game after getting poked in the eye. We should learn more about the shin injury on Monday.

Dolphins S Jevon Holland (knees) is inactive for today's game against the Cowboys. Expect Brandon Jones to start in his place. Jones is a solid fill-in if you had been hoping to get Holland back. CB Xavien Howard (hip) is active after hitting the day questionable.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Cowboys. He was listed as questionable after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Hill won’t be at 100% today and sits a tad lower in the Week 16 WR Rankings than usual. But he’d be impossible to keep out of fantasy lineups.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Dolphins are "optimistic" WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) will play Sunday against the Cowboys. The team reportedly still wants to check him pregame before making a "final decision." We'll be watching for updates on Hill in the morning, but we'd also plan to play him if active.

Dolphins RBs Raheem Mostert (knee, ankle) and De’Von Achane (toe) are off the final Week 16 injury report. Mostert was a full-go on Friday; Achane got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. We’re not expecting either guy to be impacted by their injuries vs. the Cowboys on Sunday.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cowboys. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. HC Mike McDaniel said Friday that Hill had a good week with no setbacks and should be available on Sunday. Hill can be penciled back into fantasy lineups. We’ll keep you updated on his status leading up to 4:25 pm ET kickoff.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert missed his second straight practice on Thursday. He's been sitting out Wednesdays lately, but this is the first time this season he's been out on Wednesday and Thursday. Mostert is listed on the injury report with knee, ankle, and vet rest, so we don't know whether the injuries are actually what's keeping him sidelined. Check back tomorrow for another update on Mostert's status for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We're tentatively expecting him to return for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys, but we'll see what Hill does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane (toe) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He played through this toe issue last week and should be ready for this weekend's showdown vs. the Cowboys.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane (toe) missed practice on Wednesday. Achane was questionable with a toe injury ahead of Week 15, then played into the fourth quarter of a blowout win. We’ll see if he’s able to get on the field tomorrow in preparation for a marquee showdown with Dallas. For now, our Week 16 RB rankings find Achane in RB2 range.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) missed practice on Wednesday. Hill, of course, sat out Sunday’s blowout win over the Jets after missing three days of practice. We’re tentatively expecting Hill to suit up, but we’ll continue to track his practice participation.

The Dolphins' "expectation and hope" is that WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) will be back for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, CBS' Tracy Wolfson said on SiriusXM on Monday. Hill seemed relatively close to playing vs. the Jets yesterday, so it tracks that he has a good chance to return for Week 16. We'll keep you updated on his status throughout this week.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle went off for 8 catches, 142 yards, and 1 score in Sunday’s blowout win over the Jets. His score came on a well-thrown deep ball from Tua Tagovailoa. Waddle briefly left with a chest injury but returned to easily pace Miami in all major receiving categories. Of course, an inactive Tyreek Hill helped. We’re guessing Hill returns for Week 16 vs. Dallas, putting Waddle back in the WR2 mix.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle suffered an apparent chest injury on the first drive of Sunday's game vs. the Jets. He made his way off the field and into the blue medical tent. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Waddle returned later in the first quarter.

Dolphins S Jevon Holland (knees) and CB Xavien Howard (hip) are inactive for today's game against the Jets. With S DeShon Elliott (concussion) also out, that leaves Miami down three of its top four DBs. It's tough to trust QB Zach Wilson for fantasy production, but the setting looks excellent for WR Garrett Wilson at least. Edge Andrew Van Ginkel (oblique) is active after entering the day questionable.

Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (toe) is active for today’s game vs. the Jets. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, so it’s safe to assume that he’ll be playing at far less than 100% today. Miami could really use Achane with WR Tyreek Hill out, though. Consider the rookie a risk/reward RB2 play in fantasy lineups.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) is INACTIVE for today’s game vs. the Jets. He tried to give it a go but evidently didn’t feel well enough in pregame warmups. Hill’s absence removes 30% of Miami’s targets, 32% of the catches, 41% of the receiving yards, and 48% of the receiving TDs. It’s obviously a huge loss for QB Tua Tagovailoa, who is not a must-start against this tough Jets defense. The Dolphins figure to lean more on their run game today, while WR Jaylen Waddle and potentially the RBs get a boost in target share.

The Dolphins are not expected to decide on WR Tyreek Hill's status for Sunday's game against the Jets until pre-game warmups, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Hill will ultimately determine whether he's healthy enough to play, Schefter adds. Miami, of course, still has lots to play for. And Hill is gunning for a 2,000-yard season. So it wouldn't be surprising to see him push to play. We'll keep you updated on the situation.

Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (toe) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jets. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. HC Mike McDaniel called Achane’s availability an “unknown” on Thursday, so the rookie is seemingly in legitimate danger of missing this one. We’ll get Miami’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
