The Giants are trading DL Leonard Williams to the Seahawks for a second-round pick in 2024 and a fifth-rounder in 2025. Williams certainly helps a Seattle D-line that recently lost Uchenna Nwosu for the season. There's probably not much fantasy impact here, though. Williams sits outside the top 80 D-linemen in fantasy points so far and ranks 19th among interior D-linemen in Pro Football Focus pass-rushing grade.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett caught 8 of 11 targets for a team-leading 81 yards and a TD in Week 8’s victory over the Browns. His teammate D.K. Metcalf was not nearly as efficient on his looks, logging just 5 catches on 14 targets for 67 yards. Rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba, however, made good use of his opportunities by catching 3 passes for 36 yards and a score in the contest. This trio of WRs combined for 75% of the Seahawks’ targets. It’s pretty clear who QB Geno Smith will look for in Week 9 vs. the Ravens.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III received 8 carries for 66 rushing yards in Week 8’s win vs. the Browns. His teammate Zach Charbonnet siphoned off a decent amount of work and performed well in the contest, totaling 53 rushing yards on 5 carries with 2 catches for 11 yards as a receiver. Unfortunately for both plays, WR Jake Bobo sniped a rushing TD on a 3-yard run on Sunday. Next week, Walker III will have an opportunity to bounce back against the Ravens.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith completed 23 of 37 passes for 254 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs in Week 8’s win vs. the Browns. Even had it not been for the pair of turnovers, Smith’s fantasy relevance wouldn’t have been on a week-winning level. He now sits as the QB23 on the season and Week 9’s matchup vs. the Ravens won’t be an easy task for Smith, either. The veteran is nothing more than a superflex starter until further notice.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice and should be ready to play his usual role today.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) is expected to play vs. the Browns later today. Lockett is listed as questionable but was a full participant in Friday's practice. We're expecting him to play his usual role today.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (ribs, hip) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final Week 8 injury report. It looks like he’s ready to step back into his usual role vs. the Browns on Sunday.

The Seahawks list WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns. He didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was a full participant on Friday. HC Pete Carroll confirmed on Friday that Lockett will play vs. Cleveland. The hamstring issue adds a bit of risk, but we’re expecting Lockett in a full-time role on Sunday.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (calf) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice after sitting out the previous two days. It looks like Seattle was just giving Walker some mid-week rest after his 28-touch outing vs. the Cardinals. Walker will be ready to go for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) will also return for that one after putting in a full week of practice. The rookie figures to mix in for a handful of touches behind Walker.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. He played through this injury last week, but Lockett's availability for Sunday's game vs. the Browns can't be taken for granted. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Seahawks Ken Walker (calf) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. HC Pete Carroll didn't sound worried about Walker when asked on Wednesday, but Carroll isn't exactly reliable when it comes to injury updates. We'll see if Walker practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report. RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) was upgraded to full participation on Thursday, confirming that he'll be back for Sunday's game vs. the Browns.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (ribs, hip) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Assuming he stays full the rest of the week, Metcalf can be trusted in Week 8 fantasy lineups.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That should have the rookie trending toward returning for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Charbonnet should take a few touches off RB Ken Walker's plate but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (calf) was held out of Wednesday's practice. HC Pete Carroll suggested that Walker's absence was precautionary. He's coming off a season-high 28 touches in the win over Arizona. We'll check back in on Walker tomorrow.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He only got in two limited practices last week before playing vs. the Cardinals. He should be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Browns, but we'll update Lockett's status again tomorrow.

Seahawks Edge Uchenna Nwosu needs season-ending surgery after tearing a pectoral muscle in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. That will leave Seattle without its lead edge player. Boye Mafe and Darrell Taylor finished Sunday's game as the top two. Mafe played a season-high 79% of the snaps and notched a sack for the fourth straight game. Taylor tallied his first 1.5 sacks of the season against the Cardinals. His 59% snap share marked an uptick vs. the week before but not a season high in either share or total snaps. Mafe -- a second-round pick in 2022 -- is the much better IDP bet between them the rest of the way. We'll see what else changes up front for the Seahawks. Nwosu remains signed through 2026, with dead-cap penalties that should keep him with the team at least through 2025.

Seahawks Edge Uchenna Nwosu left in the first half of Sunday's win over the Cardinals with a pectoral injury. HC Pete Carroll called it a strain after the game, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson. We'll see whether the injury will cost Nwosu further time.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (ribs, hip) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. That should mean target boosts for WRs Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba – and potentially TEs Noah Fant, Colby Parkinson, and Will Dissly. Jake Bobo figures to slide into a top-3 WR role.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. The rookie didn’t practice all week, so it’s possible that he misses more than one game. RB Ken Walker is in for a big workload today.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (hip, ribs) remains a game-time decision for this afternoon's tilt with the Cardinals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "There are more concerns about his availability than there were the past two weeks," Schefter adds. We won't get Seattle's inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET, making this a tricky situation for Metcalf owners. You need to have a late-game alternative rostered if you're hoping to start Metcalf. He'll obviously carry elevated risk if he does end up playing.
