Cowboys RB Tony Pollard is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Titans after missing his 3rd straight practice Wednesday with a thigh issue. Even if he's active for the game, Dallas will be facing a Tennessee team benching a lot of starters in a contest that doesn't affect their playoff status. That could limit Pollard's exposure in what should be an easy win. Limited time for Pollard and a slew of missing starters on the Tennessee defense add lots more upside to RB Ezekiel Elliott than the initial matchup pointed to.

In another clear sign that the Titans are surrendering Thursday night's game to the Cowboys, the team announced Wednesday that basically the entire defense is out or doubtful. DT Jeffery Simmons, S Amani Hooker, EDGE Bud Dupree, LB Dylan Cole and LB Zach Cunningham are out. DL Denico Autry and CB Kristian Fulton are doubtful, which is really just a wishy-washy way of saying "out." LB Monty Rice, CB Roger McCready and S Andrew Adams like just about the only playable pieces for IDP leagues.

The 4th-year back trails only Josh Jacobs and Christian McCaffrey in PPR points at the position over the past 5 weeks. That span began with the Week 11 game in which Ezekiel Elliott returned from a 2-game knee injury. Pollard has garnered at least 14 opportunities (carries + targets) in every game since the Week 6 visit to Philadelphia. He sits high in our Week 16 fantasy football rankings for the rematch.

Burks has not played since sustaining a head injury in Week 13 vs. the Eagles. With rookie QB Malik Willis likely under center, Burks may not be particularly viable as a fantasy option this week. Additionally, the Texans rank as the 5th-most difficult matchup for WRs in adjusted fantasy points allowed. Burks' potential return to play is better news for Titans fans than fantasy managers.

It will still be worth monitoring his participation today, however. The rookie has caught 4+ balls and cracked 50 yards in 3 straight games. He has matched or beaten TE Austin Hooper in targets for 4 weeks in a row.

Bengals WR Tyler Boyd (finger) is active for today’s game vs. the Bucs. He carries elevated risk playing through the dislocated finger he suffered last week.

The Titans have ruled S Amani Hooker (knee), DL Denico Autry (knee) and CB Kristian Fulton (groin) out for Sunday's game against the Chargers. It'll be the 4th straight missed game for Autry and 2nd for Fulton. Hooker played the past 3 games, leaving early from last week's loss to the Jaguars. S Andrew Adams should get his 3rd straight game of starter-level duty in Hooker's absence.
