The Broncos want to work out RB Javonte Williams (quad) before today's game before deciding whether he'll play vs. the Jets. It's a slight surprise after Williams was a full participant in Friday's practice. We'll look for further updates on Williams but won't get Denver's inactives until a little before 3 pm ET. You need to have a late-game replacement lined up if you're hoping to start Williams.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jets. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday to full participation on Friday. That seemingly has Williams on track to play this weekend. We’ll look for further updates on his status. We won’t get Denver’s inactives until around 3 pm ET on Sunday.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams (quad) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He seemingly has a chance to play vs. the Jets this weekend. We'll see what Williams does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams did not practice on Wednesday. He's listed on the injury report with a quad, rather than the previously reported hip. Regardless, Williams is in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Jets. His absence would leave Denver's backfield to Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin.

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 28 of 39 passes for 245 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs in Week 4’s loss vs. the Chiefs. He also added 14 rushing yards in the contest. Wilson looked surprisingly good in this primetime game and nearly posted QB1-type fantasy numbers. It’s difficult to expect he’ll be quite this good for the remainder of the season, but a Week 5 matchup vs. the Broncos might be appealing. So far in 2023, Denver has allowed the highest points per game (37.5) and total yards per game (461.5).

Broncos RB Javonte Williams is dealing with a hip flexor issue, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. "He is not expected to miss much if any time," Schefter adds. We'll track Williams' status throughout this coming week, but it sounds like he has a chance to play vs. the Jets next Sunday.

Broncos WR Marvin Mims played 17 of 48 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Bears, according to Pro Football Focus. That's 35.4% -- not great, but a new season high for the rookie. Mims' 12 pass routes tied for third among Denver WRs with Brandon Johnson, behind Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy. That's not nearly enough playing time to make Mims a reliable fantasy play, but he's at least trending in the right direction. He remains worth stashing in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams. Mims was efficient again vs. Chicago, catching both of his targets for 47 yards.

RB Jaleel McLaughlin led the Broncos with seven carries and 72 rushing yards in Sunday's win over the Bears. RB Javonte Williams was knocked out early in the second quarter with a hip injury. McLaughlin tallied six carries and two targets the rest of the way to RB Samaje Perine’s five carries and two targets. McLaughlin was clearly the more explosive back, ripping off a 31-yard run and an 18-yard TD catch. Don't expect McLaughlin to dominate backfield work if Williams misses time. But based on what we saw today, it looks like he'd be the better fantasy play than Perine.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams suffered a hip injury in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Bears and is questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one. Williams' absence leaves Denver's backfield to Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin.

Update: Williams has been ruled out.

Broncos S Justin Simmons (hip) is inactive for today's game against the Bears. That means Delarrin Turner-Yell will start in his place again. He racked up 13 tackles in Simmons' absence last week and should be in starter consideration for IDP lineups once again. Check our updated Week 4 DB rankings to see where he lands.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams took 11 carries for 42 yards in an ugly loss to Miami. The good news is that Williams looked explosive on a few runs. Denver, though, failed to keep this one close, which limited Williams’ touches. We also saw Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin sub in near the goal line. We’ll see if Williams’ role grows at all for a Week 4 date at Chicago.

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 18 of 36 passes for 157 yards with no TDs or INTs in Week 3’s loss vs. the Patriots. There’s no reason he should be in lineups outside the deepest of 2QB or superflex leagues. The young signal-caller will remain off the fantasy radar in Week 4 vs. the Chiefs.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (groin) is active for today’s game vs. the Falcons. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we’re not expecting the groin to be an issue today.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (groin) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we'd be surprised if he didn't play on Sunday. We'll get Detroit's inactives around 11:30 am ET.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams earned 15 of 21 team RB opportunities in Sunday’s loss to Washington. Nice usage in general, although he lost out on a goal line TD to reserve RB Jaleel McLaughlin. Williams watched Samaje Perine take passing down snaps, too (23 routes run vs. 12). Denver draws a tough Dolphins D in Week 3. They just limited New England RBs to 63 yards on 20 attempts.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds followed up a 4-80-0 line in the opener with five catches for 66 yards and two TDs in the Week 2 overtime loss to Seattle. His six targets tied for third on the team and were a 17.1% share. Reynolds is an every-down player with downfield ability in a strong offense. You could do worse as a WR4 in deeper fantasy leagues – at least until WR Jameson Williams’ six-game suspension is over.

The Broncos placed TE Greg Dulcich on IR with his hamstring injury. That knocks him out for at least the next four games and makes him droppable in most fantasy leagues. Adam Trautman will step in as Denver's lead TE but is unlikely to ascend beyond TE2 status.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders. He’s expected to miss multiple weeks with this hamstring injury. Adam Trautman should pick up some extra work with Dulcich out but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich is expected to miss "multiple weeks" with the hamstring injury he suffered in the season opener, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. It's the same hamstring that cost Dulcich the first five games and final two games of last year, per Schefter. "Broncos will take it slow," Schefter adds. The news makes Dulcich droppable in standard-sized fantasy leagues. Adam Trautman is left as Denver's lead TE and posted a 5-34-0 line on five targets in the opener. He's worth waiver-wire consideration for TE-needy teams in deep fantasy leagues.

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 14 passes on 21 attempts for 140 passing yards with 1 TD and INT apiece in Week 1. The youngster relieved the injured Aaron Rodgers in Monday night's OT win vs. the Bills. The former No. 3 overall pick showed signs of why the franchise opted to replace him as the starter to begin with. WR Garrett Wilson batted the ball to himself with a couple of taps to record his receiving TD, if that says anything. Stay tuned for further updates regarding Rodgers' health ahead of Week 2 vs. the Cowboys. Jets HC Robert Saleh shared in the post-game press conference that "the MRI is probably going to confirm what [the Jets] already think" about the rumored Achilles injury for their starter. It's looking like fantasy managers will see Wilson start the rest of the way.
