Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) is most likely to make his 2023 debut in Week 10, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, with Week 9 an outside possibility. Murray practiced this week for the first time since tearing his ACL last December. "The early returns have been very positive," per Rapoport. "The team's only charge is to put him out there when he's physically and mentally ready to play, and there is no rush." We'll keep you updated on Murray's progress. He's worth stashing now if you need help at QB.

The Cardinals are activating S Budda Baker (hamstring) from IR and expect to play him Sunday against the Seahawks, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Barring some report to the contrary, Baker should be ready for IDP lineups this week. You won't find him high in our Week 7 DB rankings, though. And Seattle has supplied the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to DBs so far.

The Cardinals have ruled S Jalen Thompson (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. S Budda Baker -- who returned to limited practice this week after missing the past five games with a hamstring injury -- is questionable. He said Thursday it'll be a "game-time decision," according to ArizonaSports.com. That makes Baker a risky bet for IDP lineups even if active. And the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff time likely means we won't know Baker's status before the early games begin. CB Kei'Trel Clark (hamstring) is also questionable after being limited in practice all week. We'll update the status on Baker and Clark ahead of Sunday's game.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. He returned to practice this week but figures to need a couple of weeks to ramp up before he’s ready for game action. QB Josh Dobbs gets another start on Sunday.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday night's game vs. the Saints. WR Calvin Ridley, WR Christian Kirk, and TE Evan Engram will continue to handle the majority of Jacksonville targets.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) will practice on Wednesday, HC Jonathan Gannon said. Gannon added that his QB is "full go." Murray is still highly unlikely to play vs. the Seahawks this weekend, but his 2023 debut should be more than 2-3 weeks away. We'll keep you updated on his status. Murray will be a QB2 out of the gate but could certainly re-join the QB1 ranks by the end of November.

Cardinals insider Bob McManaman believes there's a "good chance" QB Kyler Murray (knee) returns to practice this week. HC Jonathan Gannon said in a Monday radio appearance that Murray is "trending in the right direction" in his recovery from last December's torn ACL. He'd figure to need at least a couple of weeks of practice before being ready to play in a game. Remember that Arizona has a brand new offense since the last time Murray took the field. But it sounds like we'll see Murray this season -- in an offense that's been better than expected so far. He's worth grabbing now if you're a QB-needy team.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not practice on Tuesday. He seems unlikely to play vs. the Saints on Thursday night, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Falcons QB Desmond Ridder completed 28 of 47 passes for 307 yards with 2 TDs and 3 INTs vs. the Commanders in Week 6. It’s encouraging that the second-year starter has now gone over 300 passing yards in each of the past two weeks. Unfortunately, poor accuracy and decision-making have led to Ridder ranking second among QBs with 6 INTs on the season. He’ll be worth a look in deeper 2QB/superflex leagues in Week 7 vs. the Buccaneers.

The Cardinals have ruled S Jalen Thompson (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Rams. That leaves Arizona without both starting safeties, with Budda Baker (hamstring) still on IR. K'Von Wallace and Andre Chachere will start against the pass-heavy Rams.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts. WR Calvin Ridley, WR Christian Kirk, and TE Evan Engram should continue to control Jacksonville targets this weekend.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He's considered "day-to-day" but doesn't seem like a good bet to play vs. the Colts this weekend.

Cardinals RB James Conner (knee) has been placed on IR. He'll miss at least the next four games vs. the Rams, Seahawks, Ravens, and Browns. We'll see if he's ready to play when first eligible in Week 10. Sitting 18th among RBs in PPR points, Conner is worth keeping stashed in most fantasy leagues. His absence leaves Arizona's backfield to RBs Emari Demercado, Keaontay Ingram, and Tony Jones. We broke down the situation in this week's waiver wire report.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones is considered "day-to-day" with the knee injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Bills, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Jones has injured the same knee twice in the last four weeks. He missed two games the first time, so we're tentatively expecting him to miss at least this Sunday's game vs. the Colts. We'll track his progress throughout the week.

Cardinals RB James Conner is expected to miss "multiple weeks" with the knee injury he suffered in the Week 5 loss to the Bengals, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. We'll see if Conner ends up landing on IR, which would cost him four games. His absence leaves Arizona's backfield to Emari Demercado, Keaontay Ingram, and the just-acquired Tony Jones. Ingram has missed the past two weeks with a neck injury but did get in a couple of limited practices last week. We'll see if he makes it back for Sunday's game vs. the Rams, but Demercado will be the best fantasy bet in this backfield at least for Week 6.

The Cardinals on Monday claimed RB Tony Jones Jr. off waivers from the Saints. That, of course, comes a day after RB James Conner suffered a knee injury and doesn't bode well for Conner's chances of playing in Week 6. Arizona also went without RB Keaontay Ingram in Week 5 because of a neck injury. We'll see about his availability for Sunday's game against the Rams. Emari Demercado currently stands as the best bet to lead Arizona's backfield for that one and is worth a look on waivers this week for needy fantasy teams.

Cardinals S Jalen Thompson left Sunday's loss to the Bengals with a hamstring injury less than halfway through. We'll see about his outlook for Week 6 against the Rams. Arizona will miss the other starting safety, Budda Baker, for at least one more game. He's on IR with a hamstring injury. K'Von Wallace and Andre Chachere finished Sunday as the top two safeties for the Cardinals. The duo would add upside to the Rams' deep-passing game if left to start next week.

Cardinals RB James Conner logged 6 carries for 48 yards in Week 5 vs. the Bengals before leaving in the second quarter with a knee injury. In his absence, rookie Emari Demercado put up 45 rushing yards and a TD on 10 attempts. We’ll keep an eye on Conner’s health throughout the week. Should he miss time, Demercado would be a name to consider off the waiver wire ahead of Week 6 vs. the Rams.

Cardinals RB James Conner suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. He's officially questionable to return. With RB Keaontay Ingram inactive with a neck injury, Arizona is down to RB Emari Demercado.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones suffered a knee injury in the third quarter of Sunday morning's game vs. the Bills. He's officially questionable to return. Jones missed Weeks 3 and 4 with a knee injury, although it's unclear if this is related.
