Saints WR Rashid Shaheed led the team with 6 catches and 79 yards in Sunday's win over the Eagles. TE Juwan Johnson hauled 5 of 7 targets for 62 yards, and rookie WR Chris Olave returned with 4 receptions on 5 targets for 42 yards after missing Week 16 vs. the Browns. Shaheed's penchant for making big plays paid off once again as he's now logged 70+ receiving yards in 3 of the last 4 games. Fantasy managers playing into Week 18 will see this bunch of pass-catchers take on a Panthers defense that ranks as the 3rd-best matchup in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs and just got torched by QB Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in Week 17.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara carried the ball 16 times for 74 yards in Sunday's win vs. the Eagles. The former Pro Bowler added another 7 yards on 1 catch in the receiving game. The touch opportunity was certainly there for Kamara in Week 17 at a minimum. Some could call his output a success considering the Eagles' defense entered Week 17 ranked 4th-best in Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA in the 3 weeks prior. Even so, a PPR performance under double-digits is less than ideal in the grand scheme of things. Kamara will have a chance to rebound in Week 18 vs. the Panthers.

Lions RB Jamaal Williams racked up 144 yards and a TD in Sunday's win over the Bears. His 22 carries were his 2nd most of the season and twice as many as D'Andre Swift garnered in the game. The TD was his league-leading 15th of the season but 1st in 4 games. Williams will get a weak Packers run defense in Week 18.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is active for today's game against the Eagles. It will be his 1st game action since Week 5 internal injuries that included a lacerated kidney. It's tough to know how effective he'll be, but New Orleans has clearly been cautious with the veteran. And he carried no game status on the final injury report of the week, despite remaining limited in practice. The long layoff will likely lessen any hesitation the Eagles might have about challenging Lattimore in coverage, which would help his target count. Lattimore will be a risk-reward play in IDP lineups for Week 17.

Saints LB Pete Werner (hamstring) is active for today's game against the Eagles. He sports some re-injury risk after leaving his last game early, missing last week and remaining limited in practice all week. But he also carries significant tackle upside whenever on the field. We've got Werner modestly projected in our Week 17 IDP rankings. Philadelphia has been a worse scoring matchup for LBs than you'd probably expect for such a run-favoring offense.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Eagles. The rookie was sidelined with this injury last week and limited in practice all this week. Consider Olave just a WR3 against Philly’s 9th-ranked WR defense.

The Raiders are expected to explore trade options for QB Derek Carr this offseason, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport adds that there are "scenarios" in which Carr remains with Vegas but believes he'll "almost certainly" be playing elsewhere in 2023. Carr's $32.9 million base salary for 2023 becomes fully guaranteed 3 days after the Super Bowl, so a move figures to happen by then. Carr never looked comfortable in HC Josh McDaniels' offense this season. His 60.8% completion rate is his worst since his 2014 rookie campaign; his 7.0 yards per attempt his worst since 2017. Carr turns 32 in March.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) is expected to play vs. the Eagles today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Olave got in 3 limited practices this week after missing Week 16. The hamstring adds some risk to Olave, who ranks just 35th in fantasy points per game over his last 5 healthy outings.

Saints LB Pete Werner (hamstring) and CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Each put in limited practices all week. Lattimore still hasn't played since Week 5 and would be tough to use in IDP lineups if active. Werner returned from ankle surgery in Week 15 but left that contest early with the hamstring issue. The lack of a full practice makes him risky as well. New Orleans has ruled S Marcus Maye (shoulder) out for the game.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (quadriceps/NIR-personal) was a full participant on Friday and is set to play in Week 17 vs. the Eagles. Much has been made of Kamara's Instagram account being completely wiped and the fact he didn't practice at all until Friday. But as far as we know, the former Pro Bowler is going to suit up. 2022 has been an up-and-down journey for Kamara managers. However, 20+ touches over the last 2 weeks should inspire some confidence for strong volume if nothing else in a neutral matchup against the Eagles. Consider Kamara a low-end RB1 in Week 17.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) logged limited participation on Friday and carries a questionable tag ahead of Week 17 vs. the Eagles. The talented rookie only managed limited practice all week and missed last week's game with this same ailment. It looks like fantasy managers aren't going to know about the status of Olave until 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday. It'll be tough to view Olave as anything more than a WR3/flex option if he does suit up against a brutally stingy Eagles secondary.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (quadriceps/NIR-personal) did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. It's unknown how much of his absence is due to injury or the personal issue he's been excused from practice for. Hopefully, we'll have more information tomorrow. Kamara is considered an RB1 candidate if he is able to suit up in Week 17 vs. the Eagles. Keep tabs on RB David Johnson on your waiver wire if something prevents Kamara from playing.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) logged limited participation at practice for the 2nd consecutive day. Tomorrow's report will be telling about his availability for Week 17 vs. the Eagles. The rookie did not play last week due to this injury, so limited participation in back-to-back days is a good sign at a minimum. Tune in tomorrow for official word on Olave's outlook.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) logged limited participation in practice on Wednesday. The talented rookie missed last week's contest with this injury. As such, limited participation early in the week is a good sign for Week 17 vs. the Eagles, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Keep an eye out for updates throughout the week.

Raiders QB Derek Carr went just 16 of 30 passing for 174 yards in Saturday night's loss to the Steelers. He threw just 1 TD pass -- to WR Hunter Renfrow -- and 3 INTs while taking 3 sacks. WR Davante Adams managed only 2 receptions for 15 yards on a team-high 9 targets. TE Darren Waller led Vegas with 58 receiving yards on 4 catches. Renfrow matched him with 4 receptions for 42 yards. The Raiders head back home to face a difficult 49ers defense in Week 17.

Saints shape-shifter Taysom Hill tallied 56 yards and a TD on 9 carries in Saturday's win over the Browns. It marked Hill's largest rushing total since Week 8 and his 1st rushing TD since Week 5. Hill has been running the ball more lately, though. He has carried 6+ times in 4 of his past 5 games after reaching that number just twice through his first 9 appearances.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara ran for 76 yards and a TD on 20 carries in Saturday's win over the Browns. That marked just 3.8 yards per rush, his 7th game among the past 8 with less than 4 yards per carry. But the TD was Kamara's 1st since Week 8, when he crossed the goal line 3 times against the Raiders. That had been Kamara's only game this season with a TD. Week 17 will bring a Philadelphia defense that has been friendlier to opponent rushing than passing. But it's not nearly as good a matchup for RB scoring as the one that allowed Kamara just 3.8 yards per rush this week.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is inactive for today's game against the Browns. S Marcus Maye (shoulder) is active.

The Saints have ruled LB Pete Werner (hamstring) out for Saturday's game agains the Browns. His absence pushes Kaden Elliss back into the starting lineup, and you can find him in our Week 16 IDP rankings. The Saints also list S Marcus Maye (shoulder) and CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) as questionable.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 16 vs. the Browns. With Olave inactive and WR Jarvis Landry landing on IR due to an ankle injury, not many Saints players warrant fantasy consideration in Saturday's game. TE Juwan Johnson could theoretically see a boost in opportunity. However, the weather in Cleveland is expected to be nasty. RB Alvin Kamara is about the only Saints player fantasy managers can count on in any meaningful way in this contest.
