        Nico Collins Out Wednesday

Texans WR Nico Collins (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He's unlikely to clear protocol in time for Sunday's Divisional Round game vs. the Patriots, but we'll keep tabs on his progress. Collins' absence would leave Jayden Higgins, Christian Kirk, and Xavier Hutchinson as Houston's top three WRs. Patriots No. 1 CB Christian Gonzalez is also in concussion protocol but got in a limited practice on Wednesday.

        Matt Stafford's Finger Feels "Great"

Rams QB Matt Stafford (right finger) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He told reporters that the finger feels "great" and that he doesn't plan to wear any protection on it for Sunday's game vs. the Bears. Stafford looked a bit off after hurting the finger in last week's win over the Panthers, but it doesn't look like it'll be an issue this weekend.

Ricky Pearsall "Optimistic" For Divisional Round

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) is "optimistic" that he'll play vs. the Seahawks on Saturday night. He's been limited in the first two practices of the week, but the ankle issue that had been on the injury report recently is gone. Pearsall has been banged up basically all season, but he's tallied 85+ yards in four of his nine games, including each of his last two. It's unclear exactly how healthy Pearsall will be for this Divisional Round game, but the 49ers could certainly use him with TE George Kittle out.

        Giants Land John Harbaugh

The Giants are finalizing a deal to hire John Harbaugh as their new HC. It's a five-year deal that will make Harbaugh one of the league's highest-paid coaches, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Harbaugh is coming off an 18-year run with the Ravens, winning 61.4% of his regular season games and Super Bowl 47. It's a strong hire for New York. But Harbaugh worked his way up through the ranks as a special teams coach. That makes the rest of his offensive staff key to figuring out what this Giants attack will look like going forward. The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that former Ravens OC Todd Monken is expected to join Harbaugh in New York, although it's unclear if he'll hold the same title. We'll keep you updated on how this Giants staff comes together -- and what it means for QB Jaxson Dart, WR Malik Nabers, and the rest of the offense.

        Adam Thielen Hangs 'Em Up

        5:59pm UTC 1/14/26

WR Adam Thielen announced Wednesday that he's retiring from the NFL. Thielen landed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2013, spending the season on Minnesota's practice squad. He, of course, then spent the next 12 years in the league: nine of those with Minnesota before a two-year Carolina stint and a 2025 split between the Vikings and Steelers (after a late-August trade from Carolina to Minnesota). Thielen finishes his career with 704 catches, 8,497 receiving yards, and 64 TDs.

        2:39am UTC 1/14/26

Remember Jonathon Brooks? The 46th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft has played just three games for the Panthers. He opened his rookie season rehabbing from a torn ACL suffered in college and then re-tore that ACL in his third game. Brooks missed the entire 2025 campaign. But he's "headed in a good direction" now, GM Dan Morgan said Tuesday.

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) got in a limited practice on Tuesday. It's an upgrade over last week, when he missed all three practices. With TE George Kittle out, the Niners could certainly use Pearsall in Saturday night's game vs. the Seahawks. We'll keep you updated on his status for that one.

Josh Allen Limited With Trio Of Injuries

        2:28am UTC 1/14/26

Bills QB Josh Allen was limited in Tuesday's practice and listed on the injury report with foot, knee, and right finger injuries. He's been playing through the foot ailment for multiple weeks but picked up the knee and finger issues in the Wild Card win over the Jaguars. Neither cost him time in that one, and he'll play vs. the Broncos on Saturday. But Allen clearly won't be at 100%. It's a concern for his fantasy upside, particularly the rushing production.

        Jordan Addison Arrested (Again)

        2:20am UTC 1/14/26

Vikings WR Jordan Addison was arrested early on January 12 and charged with misdemeanor trespassing at Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, Florida. He's been released on $500 bail. We don't have any other details on the incident, but Addison's representatives are (not surprisingly) already claiming innocence. "On Jordan's behalf, his legal team has already initiated the investigation, identified witnesses, and we are reviewing the viability of a claim for false arrest," Addison's agency said. "He looks forward to the legal process and upon full investigation, we are confident Mr. Addison will be exonerated." We'll see where this goes, but this is Addison's third run-in with the law since being drafted in 2023. He was caught going 140 mph in 2023 and then arrested on DUI charges in 2024, ultimately leading to a three-game suspension. There's clearly some off-field risk on Addison's short-term redraft and long-term dynasty values.

Nick Sirianni Finally Stops Hanging Out with That One Friend

        8:35pm UTC 1/13/26

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni announced Tuesday that he'll be replacing OC Kevin Patullo. The deposed coordinator filled that role for the first time in his career (at any level) this season. He had worked under Sirianni since the two joined Frank Reich's staff with the Colts in 2018. That includes spending the past five years with Sirianni in Philadelphia, four as pass-game coordinator before taking over for Kellen Moore in 2025.

        Chargers Looking For New OC

        8:17pm UTC 1/13/26

The Chargers fired OC Greg Roman. The offense was disappointing this season, but an injury-wrecked offensive line was a much bigger culprit than Roman's scheme or play-calling. The Chargers lost LT Rashawn Slater to a season-ending torn patellar tendon in August and then watched RT Joe Alt go down with his own season-ending ankle injury in Week 9. Los Angeles finished bottom two in Pro Football Focus' run- and pass-blocking grades and ESPN's run- and pass-blocking win rates. QB Justin Herbert was pressured on a league-high 43.6% of his dropbacks. We'll see who the Chargers tab to replace Roman. But the offensive line should be much better in 2026 with better health. With Herbert, plus RB Omarion Hampton, WRs Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Tre Harris, and TE Oronde Gadsden, this is a prime bounce-back offense to target in fantasy drafts.

        Gabe Davis Has Torn ACL

        8:05pm UTC 1/13/26

Bills WR Gabe Davis tore his left ACL in Sunday's Wild Card win over the Jaguars, HC Sean McDermott said. That knocks Davis out for the rest of the playoffs and sends him into free agency this offseason with a major injury. Davis turns just 27 in April but has only 32 catches across the past two seasons. He's only worth stashing in the deepest of dynasty leagues. The Bills are down to Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks, Keon Coleman, and Tyrell Shavers as their healthy WRs. We'll see if WR Josh Palmer can make it back from his ankle injury for Saturday's game vs. the Broncos. WR Curtis Samuel, who's been out since Week 11, has been designated to return from IR, giving him a chance to play this weekend.

Update: Shavers also tore an ACL in the win over the Jaguars, McDermott announced Tuesday.

Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman relayed the full extent of TE Tucker Kraft’s season-ending knee injury. The 25-year-old suffered a torn ACL, along with a partially torn meniscus and a “damaged” LCL. Kraft expects to start training camp on the PUP list but sounded optimistic about his chance of playing Week 1. “My timeline, I’m not in a race or anything like that. It happened. By the time Week 1 rolls around, I’ll be 10 months post-surgery and hopefully bulletproofed by then,” Kraft said via The Athletic. “I already feel pretty good. My progress so far has been great. Some would say even ahead of schedule. So, not trying to blow anything out of proportion. I’m not even 10 weeks in yet, but it’s feeling good so far. Everything’s going great. I’m in good hands here.” We’ll see where Kraft comes out in 2026 ADP. He finished 2025 as the PPR TE3 in points per game.

        1:24am UTC 1/12/26

49ers TE George Kittle tore his right Achilles in Sunday's Wild Card win over the Eagles, HC Kyle Shanahan confirmed afterward. That ends Kittle's season and threatens his availability for the start of the 2026 campaign, which kicks off in about eight months. Kittle won't be helped by the fact that he's 32 with a lengthy injury history. It's possible that we never see a dominant version of Kittle again. We'll keep you updated on his rehab progress this offseason. Jake Tonges will step in as San Francisco's lead TE for the rest of this playoff run -- and potentially early next season.
