49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. We’ll see if Mitchell is ready to return as San Francisco’s No. 2 RB, but he shouldn’t be in your Week 6 fantasy plans.

If you stuck it out with 49ers TE George Kittle through his rough go to begin the season, congratulations. The veteran found the end zone three times on Sunday to go along with 3 receptions and a team-leading 67 receiving yards. His teammate Brandon Aiyuk saw a team-high 7 targets in the contest but was only able to convert those opportunities into 4 catches for 58 yards. This 49ers offense is an incredibly efficient unit thus far in 2023. We’ll be excited to throw these guys back into lineups in Week 6 vs. the Browns.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey had a bit of a down game (by his absurdly high standards) with 78 total yards and a rushing TD on 22 touches vs. the Cowboys in Week 5. However, this was mostly due to the fact that he was pulled from the game by the fourth quarter once San Francisco had the victory in hand. The early shellacking that HC Kyle Shanahan and company were able to put on the Cowboys made it so CMC’s efforts weren’t needed. We’ll again have McCaffrey ranked highly in Week 6 vs. the Browns.

49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 17 of 24 attempts for 252 yards with 4 TDs in Week 5’s blowout win vs. the Cowboys. San Fransisco dominated this contest so early that Purdy was pulled from action by the time the fourth quarter rolled out. Through five games, the second-year signal-caller ranks as the QB7 in fantasy points per game (19.8), tied with Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. That’s some special company to be in. Next week, Purdy and company will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.

Cardinals QB Joshua Dobbs struggled with turnovers in Sunday’s loss vs. the Bengals. He totaled 15 completions on 32 attempts for 166 yards with 2 TDs in the contest to go along with a pair of INTs and a lost fumble. Dobbs’ rushing has consistently helped bring up his fantasy scoring floor of late, but he unfortunately only managed 1 rushing yards in Week 5. We’ll see if he can bounce back in Week 6 vs. the Rams, but he’s best left out of the lineup conversation in 1QB leagues.

Packers LB De'Vondre Campbell (ankle) is out for Monday night's game against the Raiders. That will leave Isaiah McDuffie to start in his place. McDuffie carries limited upside for IDP leagues. Green Bay also could be missing as many as three secondary starters. CB Jaire Alexander (back) and S Rudy Ford (oblique) are questionable after limited practice participation this week. CB Eric Stokes' questionable tag is more of a positive. He has yet to play this season, coming off mensicus and Lisfranc injuries in November that each required surgeries. If he plays, it'll likely be in a limited role. We'll check on all three DBs Monday. None is worth waiting for in your IDP lineup.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) is not listed on the final Week 5 injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Thursday that Samuel will be "less than 100%" for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys, but it at least looks like he’s in better shape than he was last week. See where Samuel sits in the Week 5 WR Rankings. WR Jauan Jennings (shin) is also off the Week 5 injury report and will be back for Sunday night’s game.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) is out for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys. That'll leave Jordan Mason as San Francisco's No. 2 RB -- and very likely mean another massive workload for RB Christian McCaffrey.

San Francisco CB Charvarius Ward returned to limited practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with a heel injury. We'll see about his outlook for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys.

Niners LB Dre Greenlaw opened this week by missing Wednesday's practice and then returning for a limited Thursday. It's the same way he opened Week 4's practice slate after hurting an ankle in Week 3. Greenlaw played through the injury last Sunday and tallied 10 tackles in the win over Arizona. We'd bet on him being ready for this week's clash against Dallas. We'll watch for confirmation.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (knee, ribs) will be "less than 100%" for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Samuel played his normal snap rate with the knee and rib injuries last week but didn't draw a single target. He got in a limited practice on Wednesday after missing all three practices this week, so it looks like he's healthier heading into Week 5. But Samuel's fantasy profile takes a hit until we see that he's back to 100%.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That's an improvement over last week, when he didn't practice at all. Samuel didn't draw a single target last week but played 87% of San Francisco's offensive snaps. He should be healthier for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. RB Christian McCaffrey got back up to an 85% snap rate and 27 touches with Mitchell out last week. CMC is THE RB1 regardless of Mitchell's availability for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys, but he gets a slight boost if Mitchell is out again.

Niners LB Dre Greenlaw (ankle) is active for today's game against the Cardinals. Play him as planned in IDP lineups.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. He didn't practice all week and said Friday that the knee is a bigger issue than the ribs. There’s obvious risk with Samuel today, although we haven’t heard anything about his snaps being limited. WR Jauan Jennings (shin) is inactive.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. RBs Jordan Mason and Ty Davis-Price are active to spell workhorse RB Christian McCaffrey.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) is not expected to play vs. the Cardinals today, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Mitchell injured his knee in Thursday's practice and did not practice on Friday. His absence could mean an extra touch or two for RB Christian McCaffrey. Jordan Mason and Ty Davis-Price figure to be active behind CMC.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) is expected to play vs. the Cardinals today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Samuel didn't practice at all this week, so it's safe to assume he'll be playing at less than 100% today. It adds obvious risk to his Week 4 fantasy profile, although there's still plenty of upside in this matchup. See where Samuel sits in the Week 4 WR Rankings.

49ers insider Matt Maiocco believes the team's roster moves on Saturday suggest optimism for WR Deebo Samuel's Week 4 availability. San Francisco only elevated WR Willie Snead from the practice squad. He'll take the place of WR Jauan Jennings, who will miss Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals with a shin injury. But the fact that no other WRs were promoted is a sign that Samuel will play, according to Maiocco. We should get another update on Samuel on Sunday morning.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals. He reportedly hurt his knee in Thursday's practice and did not practice on Friday. Mitchell's absence on Sunday would leave Jordan Mason as San Francisco's No. 2 RB.
