NFL Network's James Palmer hears that it'll be an "uphill battle" for Browns WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) to play vs. the Broncos tonight. Beckham is reportedly dealing with a Grade 3 AC joint injury. His status beyond Week 7 is uncertain. WR Jarvis Landry, meanwhile, has a "very good chance" to be activated from IR and return from his knee injury tonight, according to Palmer. There would be targets up for grabs with Beckham out. But Landry would be a risky fantasy play in his first game back and with Case Keenum under center.

Browns WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Broncos. He didn't practice at all this week. Insider Josina Anderson reports that Beckham suffered a Grade 3 AC joint injury -- the most severe -- in last week's loss to the Cardinals. He's reportedly going to try to play through it and is a game-time decision for tomorrow night. Between his shoulder injury and QB Baker Mayfield's absence, Beckham is an extremely shaky Week 7 fantasy play.

Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday that QB Baker Mayfield (shoulder) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Broncos and that QB Case Keenum will get the start. "Baker obviously wants to be out there but just couldn’t make it on a short week," Stefanski said. “We know he will continue to do everything in his power to return as quickly as possible." We'll see if Mayfield can make it back for Week 8. Keenum, meanwhile, will make his 1st start since Week 17 of the 2019 season. The 33-year-old has 62 career starts under his belt and sports a 62.3% completion rate, 6.9 yards-per-attempt average and 75 TDs vs. 47 INTs. Keenum is a capable backup but still a downgrade from Mayfield.

Browns WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) did not practice on Tuesday. He played through this injury last week, so we're expecting him to be out there for Thursday night's game vs. Denver. But check back tomorrow for another update.

Browns WR Odell Beckham injured his right shoulder in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. He was in obvious pain on the sidelines before heading back to the locker room with trainers. Stay tuned for an update.

Update: Beckham returned in the 3rd quarter.

Today's Cardinals-Browns game is expected to see 20 mph sustained winds with gusts around 30 mph. We saw a couple of windy games in Cleveland disappoint for fantasy purposes last season. Today isn't quite as windy as those, but the passing and kicks games still figure to be impacted. We certainly wouldn't be benching guys like Kyler Murray or DeAndre Hopkins. But use the weather as a tiebreaker if you're considering more fringy passing-game options from these teams.

Browns WR Odell Beckham (knee) isn't listed on the final injury report after putting in a full week of practice. ESPN's Dan Graziano confirmed on Friday morning that OBJ is on track to make his 2021 debut vs. the Bears this weekend, barring a setback between now and then. OC Alex Van Pelt suggested that Beckham will be on some type of snap count on Sunday. But, especially with WR Jarvis Landry out, Beckham could still see plenty of volume. Consider him a risk/reward WR3 for this week.

Browns WR Odell Beckham (knee) "has had a good week of practice" and is on track to play vs. the Bears on Sunday "barring an unforeseen setback between now and game time," ESPN's Dan Graziano reports. Beckham has been trending toward making his 2021 debut this weekend since putting in his first full practice of the year on Wednesday. OC Alex Van Pelt suggested that Beckham will be on some type of snap count in Week 3, though, which lowers his fantasy ceiling and floor.

Browns OC Alex Van Pelt called WR Odell Beckham (knee) a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Bears. OBJ was supposedly a game-time decision for the opener before being scratched. He was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice, so he seems to be trending in the right direction. "He's looked good so far in practice," Van Pelt said. "We’ll see how he feels later in the week, but we’re hoping." Van Pelt also hinted that Beckham will be on a snap count if he plays this weekend. "Definitely have to be smart with his reps. Can’t expect him to come out and have a huge day first time back, we’ve just got to ease him back into it if he does make it to the game," Van Pelt said. We'll continue to keep a close eye on the situation. For now, Beckham looks like a risk/reward WR3 for Week 3.

Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said WR Odell Beckham (knee) will be "full go" in Wednesday's practice. Beckham has been listed as limited in every practice so far, so this is clearly a step forward. We'll see if he's ready to make his debut vs. the Bears this weekend. Cleveland needs him with WR Jarvis Landry out.

Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday that WR Odell Beckham Jr. will not play Sunday against the Texans, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Beckham missed Week 1 as well, despite reported optimism leading up to game day. We'll see about his participation in Week 3 practices.

Browns WR Odell Beckham (knee) is INACTIVE for today’s game against the Chiefs. It’s a major surprise after Beckham trended in a positive direction throughout August. We assume he’ll debut next week, but we’ll see. Beckham’s absence today should move WR Donovan Peoples-Jones into the starting lineup. WR Jarvis Landry and TE Austin Hooper also get target boosts.
