Rams DT Sebastian Joseph-Day needs surgery on the chest muscle injury that kept him out last week. He put in limited practices Wednesday and Thursday but aggravated the injury Thursday. HC Sean McVay told the Los Angeles Times the team doesn't yet know whether Joseph-Day will be able to return this season.
DT, CB getting healthy
The team website reports that Rams HC Sean McVay said Monday he expects to get DT Sebastian Joseph-Day back this week from the chest injury that kept him out of Week 8. The team also expects CB Darious Williams (ankle) to return to practice this week. The Rams would than have 21 days to decide whether to return Williams to the active roster -- from IR -- or shut him down for the season.
