Browns WR Amari Cooper caught just two of 8 targets in Sunday's win over the Colts, tallying a mere 22 yards. Losing QB Deshaun Watson early certainly didn't help, as P.J. Walker completed just 15 of his 32 pass attempts the rest of the way. Of course, Watson opened the game just 1 of 5 before going down. Unfortunately, we'll have to take games like this from Cooper at times. Watson should be available for Week 8 after clearing concussion testing during Sunday's game -- though it was curious that he never returned. A matchup with the Seahawks at least doesn't hold anything scary in coverage for Cooper. Elijah Moore posted a 4-59 receiving line on 7 targets.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson went into detail about his shoulder injury on Wednesday. He confirmed that it's a rotator cuff injury, per The Associated Press' Tom Withers. Watson said he's "trending up" but admitted that he might not get back to 100% this season. He added that he's not sure if it'll be days or weeks before he's ready to play. He's set to undergo medical testing ahead of Wednesday's practice. We'll keep you updated on Watson's status, but fantasy owners shouldn't plan on having him available for Week 7 lineups.

Browns QB P.J. Walker mustered just 192 scoreless yards in the Week 6 win over the 49ers. That didn't stop WR Amari Cooper from having a nice fantasy day. He caught four of his team-high eight targets for 108 yards. His receptions went for 11, 58, 26, and 13 yards. Cooper fumbled after his first catch but later atoned for that mistake with a sweet contested catch over CB Charvarius Ward. Despite Cleveland's QB issues, Cooper has now tallied 90+ yards in three of his last four games. He's drawn a solid 22.7% target share and is averaging 9.4 yards per target. Cooper would obviously benefit from a healthy Deshaun Watson, although that could still be weeks away. The good news: Cooper gets plus matchups the next three weeks vs. the Colts, Seahawks, and Cardinals.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the 49ers. "He's making progress," HC Stefanski said Friday. "He's getting better. He's very disappointed. He wants to play. He wants to be able to compete with his teammates, so he's just got to focus on getting better every day." We'll see if Watson can make it back for Week 7. QB P.J. Walker gets the start against San Francisco. You should try to avoid the Browns passing game in fantasy lineups.

CBS Sports' Josina Anderson is told that Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) will not play vs. the 49ers on Sunday. He's about three weeks removed from a bruised rotator cuff that reportedly might take up to six weeks to fully heal. If Watson is indeed out this weekend, Cleveland will start QB P.J. Walker, who has seven career starts across the past three seasons. Walker sports a 57.5% completion rate, 6.4 yards per pass attempt, and five TDs vs. 11 INTs. A Walker-led passing game has very little chance against San Francisco.

Browns TE David Njoku hauled 6 of 7 targets for 46 yards in Week 4’s loss vs. the Ravens. WR Amari Cooper struggled to connect with rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson and only caught one of his 6 targets for 16 yards. This was an ugly outing without Deshaun Watson under center. The team will look to regroup and get healthier before they play again in Week 6 after their bye week.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is officially inactive for today’s game vs. the Ravens. That leaves fifth-round rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center for Cleveland. DTR was an inconsistent college passer but looked OK this preseason, completing 63.8% of his passes at 7.6 yards per attempt. We’d still consider him a significant downgrade from Watson, though, and expect a run-heavy game plan from the Browns today.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson passed for 289 yards and 2 TDs in a Week 3 win over Tennessee. Watson completed 81.8% of his passes on a day that found Cleveland accomplish little on the ground. He leaned on Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore, with the duo combining for a 51.5% target share. Watson hosts the Ravens for Week 4 before entering a Week 5 bye.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (shoulder, groin) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He didn’t practice on Wednesday but put in limited workouts on Thursday and Friday. Cooper should be ready for a full allotment of snaps in this weekend’s plus matchup vs. the Titans.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (shoulder, groin) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He should be ready for this weekend's game vs. the Titans, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (shoulder, groin) did not practice on Wednesday. He played through the groin issue on Monday night, but the shoulder is new. We'll track Cooper's status over the next few days but are tentatively expecting him to play vs. the Titans on Sunday.

Browns WR Amari Cooper hauled in 7 of 10 targets for 90 yards in Monday night’s loss vs. the Steelers. Teammate Elijah Moore saw major involvement again but was only able to turn 9 targets into 3 catches for 36 yards in Week 2. Despite Cooper dealing with a groin injury ahead of the contest, the Cleveland offense was funneled through their pair of top wideouts again for the second week in a row. TE David Njoku, who caught 4 balls on as many targets for 48 yards, was a bit of an odd man out. Both Cooper and Moore will be exciting players to start in lineups in Week 3 vs. the Titans.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (groin) will be active for tonight's Week 2 game vs. the Steelers, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This is certainly good news for fantasy managers, though a mid-week injury aggravation is never a good sign. We've got him conservatively lowered in our WR rankings.

On Monday, Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot tweeted that "there's some optimism" around WR Amari Cooper (groin) suiting up for Week 2 vs. the Steelers. Cabot adds that Cooper playing is "not a certainty" but that the Browns will see how the veteran feels in warmups and that "there's a chance" at a minimum. Be sure to check back before kickoff for any official word on his availability. Should Cooper not play, we expect a bump for fellow WR Elijah Moore in this primetime divisional bout.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (groin) is "considered unlikely" to play vs. the Steelers on Monday night, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 3, but he should be on fantasy benches for this week. Cooper's absence will leave Elijah Moore and Donovan Peoples-Jones as Cleveland's top two WRs -- and give TE David Njoku more target upside.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Steelers. That groin was added to the injury report on Saturday, when Cooper was limited in practice. That indicates that Cooper injured the groin in Saturday's workout. The Monday kickoff obviously makes this a tricky situation for fantasy owners. We'll look for further updates on Cooper. But his owners either need to have him on the bench, or have a Monday night alternative lined up. The Browns-Steelers and Saints-Panthers games are on Monday.

Update: Browns HC Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Cooper "aggravated" his groin in Saturday's practice. Cooper had core-muscle surgery this offseason. "We'll see how he does over the next 48 hours," Stefanski added.

Browns WR Elijah Moore led the team in receiving with 43 yards on 3 catches in Week 1’s win vs. the Bengals. Teammate Amari Cooper logged 3 catches for 37 yards, and TE David Njoku hauled in just 2 of his 3 targets for 24 yards. The rain in Cleveland made for a very run-heavy approach by the Browns’ offense on Sunday, but the target distribution is rather intriguing. Both Moore and Cooper received a team-leading 7 targets apiece in the divisional upset. We identified Moore as one of our big sleepers this offseason, and his Week 1 involvement indeed showed reason to be excited moving forward. We’ll see what QB Deshaun Watson and company can conjure up in Week 2 vs. the Steelers on Monday night primetime.
