View AllQuincy Williams Coming Off IR
The Jets on Wednesday designated LB Quincy Williams to return from IR. He missed the past four games with a shoulder injury. The designation doesn't necessarily mean he's ready to play this week. The team has 21 days to either fully activate Williams or put him on season-ending IR. We'll watch his practice participation this week and check for signals on the Jets' LB plan.
Quincy Williams Set to Miss at Least Four Games
The Jets are placing LB Quincy Williams on IR for the shoulder injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. That removes a key full-timer from the New York defense and replaces him with a lightly experienced former undrafted free agent.
Quinnen Williams OUT vs. Rams
Jets DT Quinnen Williams is inactive for today's game against the Rams. He tested his hamstring injury pregame, but it was clearly deemed not ready. His absence is good news for Rams RB Kyren Williams as well as the passing game, which won't have to deal with one of the Jets' best pass rushers.
