It’s no surprise that 49ers Edge Nick Bosa isn’t fully participating in his team’s OTAs this week. The veteran’s working back from a right ACL tear he suffered in September. But Bosa told reporters Thursday that he has a shot to be ready for the start of training camp “or soon after, barring any setbacks,” according to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner. Bosa previously tore his right ACL as a high school senior in 2015. He tore the left one in Week 2 of 2020, as a member of the Niners.
Tatum Bethune Likely to Miss Several Games
Niners LB Tatum Bethune suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. HC Kyle Shanahan said Monday that they expect Bethune to miss multiple weeks but that he probably won't hit IR because of the Week 14 bye.
Mykel Williams Done for Season After ACL Tear
Niners Edge Mykel Williams tore the ACL in his right knee in Sunday's win over the Giants. HC Kyle Shanahan told reporters Monday that there's some damage to the lateral meniscus in the knee as well but that Williams suffered no further ligament damage.
