Jalen Hurts Efficient on Light Passing Day

Jalen Hurts Efficient on Light Passing Day

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw just 15 passes in Sunday's beatdown of the Raiders. But he proved much more efficient than in recent weeks. Hurts completed 12 of those throws (80%) for 175 yards (11.7 yards per attempt) and 3 TDs. He added 39 rushing yards on seven carries.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw up maybe the worst performance of his career in Monday night's OT loss to the Chargers. He tossed a career-high 4 INTs, and narrowly avoided a fifth thanks to the ball hitting the ground before S R.J. Mickens could secure it. Hurts also achieved the rare feat of turning the ball over twice on the same play. He threw a pick to DT Da'Shawn Hand, who fumbled while returning. Hurts recovered that fumble but then lost his own to give it back to the Chargers. The Philly QB also contributed zero TDs for the first time all season and even ran for only 8 yards on four attempts.

The Eagles' offense disappointed once again in Friday's loss to the Bears. But WR A.J. Brown enjoyed a second straight strong effort. He racked up 132 yards and 2 TDs on 10 catches. Brown's 12 targets marked his third straight game with 10+. He has tallied 7+ catches in each of those. WR DeVonta Smith followed with a 5-48 receiving line on eight targets. TE Dallas Goedert was the only other Eagle to catch more than one pass. He posted a 2-27 receiving line on four targets.
