              Former 49ers RB Brian Robinson Jr. is expected to sign with the Atlanta Falcons as a likely replacement for Tyler Allgeier, who signed with the Cardinals at the start of free agency. Robinson opened his NFL career with three straight 700+ rushing-yard seasons in Washington, peaking with 8 TDs in 2024. He was traded to the 49ers before the 2025 season. After spending a year backing up Christian McCaffrey, Robinson now projects as the No. 2 behind Bijan Robinson.

              49ers RB Christian McCaffrey has been added to the injury report with a back issue and is now questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Titans. We don't have any other details at this point. McCaffrey has no noted history of back trouble. We'll of course keep you updated on his status.
