Darious Williams's Preseason Player Analysis
Chad Muma, Travon Walker, Darious Williams questionable vs. Cowboys
Jaguars LB Chad Muma (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. He managed limited practices all week after missing last Sunday's win over the Titans. If Mama returns, fellow rookie Devin Lloyd would likely return to a part-time role. EDGE Travon Walker is questionable as well, but he missed practice all week with the ankle issue that knocked him out of the Tennessee game. We wouldn't look to play Walker in IDP lineups even if active. CB Darious Williams (abdomen) is also questionable. We'll check the status of all 3 on Sunday morning. S Andre Cisco was left off the final injury report after putting in full practices all week. He looks ready to return after missing the past 2 games. Andrew Wingard had been filling in.
Von Miller, Darious Williams active vs. 49ers
Rams EDGE Von Miller (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the 49ers. Miller entered the day questionable, but ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that the team wouldn't play Miller until he was close to "fully healed." Play Miller if you waited on him for your IDP lineup. A near-healthy Miller should enhance the L.A. defense. CB Darious Williams (ankle) is also active after entering the night questionable.
Von Miller questionable vs. 49ers
Rams OLB Von Miller is officially questionable for Monday night's game against the 49ers. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that they won't play Miller "unless the team believes his ankle injury is close to fully healed." He adds that the injury was worse than the Rams realized when they made the trade. A Week 11 bye could factor into the decision on whether to play him. At the least, the Monday night kickoff makes it difficult to wait on Miller for IDP rosters. Rams CB Darious Williams is also questionable after popping up on the injury report Friday with an ankle issue that kept him out of Saturday's practice. He's not worth waiting on.
DT, CB getting healthy
The team website reports that Rams HC Sean McVay said Monday he expects to get DT Sebastian Joseph-Day back this week from the chest injury that kept him out of Week 8. The team also expects CB Darious Williams (ankle) to return to practice this week. The Rams would than have 21 days to decide whether to return Williams to the active roster -- from IR -- or shut him down for the season.
