Cowboys WR James Washington (foot) is "ready to go" for this weekend's game vs. the Texans, HC Mike McCarthy said Friday. Washington has been out since breaking his right foot in training camp on August 1. He's certainly not a Week 14 fantasy option -- and likely won't be the rest of the season. But we'll keep an eye on his usage.

The Cowboys placed WR James Washington (foot) on IR, knocking him out for at least the first 4 games of the season. With WR Michael Gallup (knee) unlikely to be ready for Week 1, Dallas will roll out CeeDee Lamb, Noah Brown and Jalen Tolbert as its top 3 WRs.
James Washington carted off with right leg injury
Cowboys WR James Washington was carted off the practice field on Monday with an apparent right leg injury. We'll pass along an update when we get one, but it'd probably be wise to hold off on drafting Washington in the meantime. A significant injury would open the door wide open for rookie WR Jalen Tolbert to claim a Week 1 starting job.
James Washington dealing with tendinitis
Cowboys WR James Washington is dealing with tendinitis, which put him in a walking boot during late-May OTAs, according to Pro Football Talk. Washington and HC Mike McCarthy both said after Wednesday's practice that they don't expect it to be a longer-term issue.
