Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. A source tells Schefter that Stevenson is expected to miss "a few weeks." High-ankle sprains generally cost RBs 4+ games, so don't be surprised if Stevenson misses the rest of the season. He's droppable in most fantasy leagues without an IR spot. Stevenson's absence will leave Ezekiel Elliott as New England's clear lead back -- in a true test of whether pure volume can support a fantasy RB. New England has RBs Jamycal Hasty and Ty Montgomery behind Elliott on the active roster, with RB Kevin Harris on the practice squad.
49ers rule out Elijah Mitchell (knee) vs. Titans
The 49ers have ruled RB Elijah Mitchell out for Thursday night's game at Tennessee with his knee injury. Jeff Wilson Jr. dominated backfield work in Sunday's win over Atlanta, with Deebo Samuel and Jimmy Garoppolo the only 2 other Niners to handle more than 1 carry.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (concussion, knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. RB Jeff Wilson (knee) isn’t listed on the final injury report after practicing all week. He should operate as San Francisco’s lead back this weekend, with RB JaMycal Hasty in a change-of-pace, pass-catching role.

49ers RB Jeff Wilson (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. His knee flared up during last weekend's game, but it looks like he has a shot to play vs. the Bengals on Sunday. Wilson and RB JaMycal Hasty should be owned in all fantasy leagues with RB Elijah Mitchell (concussion, knee) iffy for Week 14.
Elijah Mitchell dealing with knee irritation
Niners RB Elijah Mitchell had an MRI on his knee that revealed what HC Kyle Shanahan called "irritation," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. We'll see whether that becomes an issue that costs Mitchell game time. He's also in the concussion protocol currently, leaving his status for Week 14 up in the air.
