Micah Hyde Injury History & Analysis

The Bills have ruled S Micah Hyde (neck, stinger) and CB Christian Benford (hamstring) out for Monday night's game against the Broncos. The latter should mean full playing time for CB Rasul Douglas. The former Packer played 60% of snaps against the Bengals in his first action since arriving at the trade deadline. Taylor Rapp should step into a starter role in Hyde's absence. S Damar Hamlin might also be activated but would still operate as a reserve/special teamer.

He's done for the season, but Hyde's agent says they expect a full recovery for 2023. Jaquan Johnson looks like the next man up at safety for Buffalo. Hyde's absence presents a challenge for a defense facing WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle this week.
