Niners WR Ricky Pearsall will have surgery to repair the PCL in his right knee and will miss the season, the team announced Saturday.
Niners WR Ricky Pearsall is sitting out of Wednesday's practice because of swelling in the same knee he injured last season, according to multiple reports. The PCL injury in that knee cost him eight games, including some late season aggravations.
Niners WR Ricky Pearsall limped off the field in the first quarter after a hip-drop tackle by Titans S Kevin Winston on his first reception. He was pretty clearly favoring his left knee but remained on the sideline. We'll see about his status as the game progresses. It's at least the opposite knee from the one in which he suffered his early-season PCL injury.
