Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (shoulder, hamstring) is inactive for tonight’s game against the Chargers. So it’s Damien Williams, Darrell Williams and Charcandrick West in Kansas City’s backfield. Damien is the best bet for touches and is in the RB2 mix.
Ware doubtful for Week 15
The Chiefs list RB Spencer Ware (shoulder, hamstring) as doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Chargers after he missed practice all week. Ware was able to play through the injuries last week, but it doesn't look like he'll be able to tomorrow. His absence would leave Damien Williams as Kansas City's lead back. Charcandrick West and Darrell Williams also figure to mix in, but Damien projects for 12-15 touches. That makes him a RB2 option.
Chiefs add West
The Chiefs have signed RB Charcandrick West. He spent the past 4 seasons in Kansas City, averaging 3.8 yards on 266 rush attempts and catching 75 balls. West knows HC Andy Reid's offense and should help out in passing situations. Spencer Ware will remain the Chiefs' lead ball-carrier.
West lands in New York
The Jets have signed RB Charcandrick West, who was just cut by the Chiefs. West has averaged just 3.8 yards per carry for his career, although he's totaled 75 catches over the past 3 seasons. He figures to provide insurance behind RBs Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell in New York. West might have trouble holding a roster spot once RB Elijah McGuire is ready to return from his broken foot.

The Chiefs have released RB Charcandrick West. He served as the team's #2 RB last year but was expendable with the return of Spencer Ware from his knee injury and the additions of Damien Williams and Kerwynn Williams this offseason.
