Jerry Jeudy Comes Through Late, But Browns' WR3 Role Still Limits His Fantasy Value

Jerry Jeudy came up with a 33-yard reception on the Browns’ final drive, setting up the game-winning field goal in a 13-10 win over the Ravens. He caught all four targets for 69 yards, good for a season-high 10.9 PPR points and a WR3 finish for Week 6.

Browns WR Denzel Boston caught 3 of 7 targets for 46 yards and a TD in Sunday’s 17-12 loss to the Jets. His longest catch went for 29 yards, and he averaged 15.3 yards per catch. The TD saved his day, giving him 13.6 PPR points. Boston played 62 of 68 snaps (91.2%) and led the team with 41 routes. Isaiah Bond (3-74) and Jerry Jeudy (3-19) each matched his 7 targets.

Browns WR Denzel Boston led the team with 89 yards on 4 receptions in Thursday night's win over the Steelers. The bulk of that damage came on a blown coverage in the second quarter that resulted in a 60-yard catch and run for the rookie. Boston's other catches went for 5, 9, and 15 yards. But he also had 3 other deep targets that didn't quite connect. Boston's 7 targets tied for second on the team and were a 21% share.

Browns WR Denzel Boston drew 7 targets in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers and finished with 5 catches for 95 yards and a TD. Most of his production came via a 55-yard TD late in the third quarter. Even that play sprang from a short target.

Cleveland's rookie receivers led the passing game in usage and production in Sunday's opener against Jacksonville. KC Concepcion paced the Browns in targets (5) and catches (4) while trailing only Denzel Boston in receiving yards (59 to 43). Boston tied for second on the team with 4 targets and caught just two of them, but one of those produced the team's lone TD from 46 yards out late in the fourth quarter. Boston and Concepcion also led the group in playing time, but the team's overall offensive performance bodes ill for everyone's fantasy upside.
