Dolphins LB Raekwon McMillan left Sunday's loss to the Giants early with a hamstring and did not return. He's not enough of a factor to be worth the risk for Week 16, unless you play in an especially deep league.

Dolphins LB Raekwon McMillan returned to practice Monday after missing the entire preseason with an undisclosed injury. "Felt good. Back to 100 percent," he told the team website. HC Brian Flores also praised the 3rd-year LB. "Honestly, I've never seen a guy work so hard to get back," he said. McMillan said he doesn't know what his role will be, which points to newcomer Sam Eguavoen continuing to work ahead of McMillan. The former CFL player spent the preseason starting next to Jerome Baker and impressed. Baker hits the regular season as the top IDP option among Dolphins LBs. Eguavoen looks like the next. But you might want to wait and see this LB corps in action before using anyone beyond Baker.

Dolphins MLB Raekwon McMillan tore the ACL in his right knee in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Falcons. That takes away a rookie Miami planned to start in the middle this season. According to The Miami Herald, Mike Hull is the next guy up in McMillan's spot. The rookie's injury will only make it easier for OLBs Kiko Alonso and Lawrence Timmons to stay on the field in all defensive packages. The Dolphins reportedly don't plan to move Alonso back to the middle, where he started last year. We'll see if that changes through the preseason, though.

The Dolphins drafted Ohio State LB Raekwon McMillan in the 2nd round Friday night. McMillan has the size and athleticism to play the middle or outside. He'll likely need to wait for either Kiko Alonso or Lawrence Timmons to move on before he can claim a starting role, though, at least beyond the strong side. McMillan also needs to prove he can stay on the field in passing sub packages, which adds risk to his dynasty outlook.
