The Broncos waived WR K.J. Hamler with a non-football illness designation. Hamler announced that he's been diagnosed with pericarditis, a mild heart irritation. “I’ve got a great treatment plan with medicine and am taking a quick break to get this all taken care of so I can get back to doing what I love," Hamler said. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Hamler is expected to miss "weeks, not months" and that the Broncos would eventually like to bring him back. We'll keep you updated on Hamler's status, but he's off the fantasy radar for now.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler has been placed on the non-football injury list to open training camp. He's still recovering from March's partially torn pectoral. Hamler was expected to miss 4-6 months, which has his availability for the start of the season in jeopardy. Hamler has no place on redraft fantasy rosters.
Hamler out 4-6 months after pectoral surgery
Broncos WR K.J. Hamler recently underwent surgery to repair a partially torn pectoral he suffered while training, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Hamler is expected to be sidelined for four to six months, which means he'll miss the entire offseason program and potentially training camp. It's just another setback for a guy who's piled up a lengthy injury history. Hamler is off the redraft radar at this point -- and his dynasty value is fading fast.
