Brock Bowers Now "Week To Week"

Raiders HC Pete Carroll labeled TE Brock Bowers (knee) "week to week" on Monday. Bowers seemed to be getting healthier before taking a turn for the worse at some point last week. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that Bowers is dealing with a PCL injury and a bone bruise. Both require rest to fully heal. We'll keep you updated on the situation, but Bowers owners should plan on being without him again in Week 6 fantasy lineups. Raiders TEs Albert Okwuegbunam and Ian Thomas combined for 9 targets on a 25% share in the Week 5 loss to the Colts. Neither guy is worth adding to fantasy rosters, but TE Michael Mayer could be a nice spot starter this weekend if he clears concussion protocol.

The final numbers make it look like TE Albert Okwuegbunam played a key role for the Raiders Sunday, with Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer out. But don't let his 5-36 receiving line on six targets (tied for second on the team) fool you.

Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Colts. The team rested him on Thursday and Friday, but the knee did not respond as hoped. We’ll keep you updated on Bowers’ status this coming week. With TE Michael Mayer out with his concussion, Vegas is down to TEs Ian Thomas and Albert Okwuegbunam. Neither is a viable fantasy play. We should see more targets funneled to the Raiders’ WRs and RBs today.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bills. Philadelphia is hoping to get him back for the Week 14 showdown vs. the Cowboys. TE Grant Calcaterra is also out for Week 12, leaving the Eagles with TEs Jack Stoll and Albert Okwuegbunam. Neither is a reliable fantasy play.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) did not practice on Thursday. He's expected to miss about four weeks with his fractured forearm, so don't expect to see him out there for Monday night's showdown vs. the Chiefs. Goedert's absence leaves Philly with TEs Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra, and Albert Okwuegbunam. We'll see how those guys are deployed on Monday, but none can be trusted in Week 11 fantasy lineups.

        1. 1 Brock Bowers LVR TE
        2. 2 Michael Mayer LVR TE
