View AllL'Jarius Sneed Finally Returning to Field
Titans CB L'Jarius Sneed opened training camp on the physically unable to perform list, despite declaring in June, "I'm healthy, I'm healthy as I've been." Sneed made it through just five games last year before succumbing to a season-ending quad injury. And then he had knee surgery in the offseason. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Sneed passed his physical Wednesday morning and will return to limited practice.
Titans Missing Starting LBs vs. Jaguars
Titans LBs Kenneth Murray Jr. and Jerome Baker are both inactive for today's game against the Jaguars. That leaves the team with James Williams and Otis Reese as the expected top two at the position. Williams has yet to play a defensive snap in the pros, and Reese has played just 98 total across two seasons. I won't be projecting either for Week 14 use, because I have no idea what we can expect from them in terms of playing time or production. Rookie Cedric Gray and 29-year-old journeyman Luke Gifford could also factor in. Tennessee will also go without slot CB Roger McCreary but gets CB Chidobe Awuzie back from IR.
Jack Gibbens Done for Season
Titans LB Jack Gibbens fractured his right leg in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Gibbens is having surgery on the league today and "faces a four-month recovery."
