Does Anthony Hill Have a Path to Early Work?

The Titans drafted Texas LB Anthony Hill Jr. in the second round Saturday. Hill spent nearly two-and-a-half years starting for the Longhorns and made an impact all three seasons. He proved particularly adept at making plays coming forward, evidenced by his 17 career sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss.

The Titans traded up to 31st overall to select DL Keldric Faulk in the draft. Faulk spent three years at Auburn, with 2024 easily his most productive: 45 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 7 sacks.

The Jets are trading Edge Jermaine Johnson to the Titans for DT T'Vondre Sweat, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The swap will officially process once the new league year begins at 4 p.m. on March 11. Johnson arrived as a first-round pick in 2022 and heads into the final year of his rookie contract (the exercised club option). Tennessee drafted Sweat in the second round in 2024. Two years remain on his initial contract. New Titans HC Robert Saleh served in that role for the Jets when they drafted Johnson (and then until New York fired him in the first half of 2024).
