Patriots WR A.J. Brown (knee, ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. He didn’t practice all week and has no timetable for return from his knee trouble. Brown’s absence again leaves New England with WRs Demario Douglas, Kyle Williams, and Efton Chism, with WR Mack Hollins (calf) potentially coming off IR for Sunday’s game.

Patriots WR A.J. Brown (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday after his knee "flared up," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Just wasn't able to to be able to practice or finish practice on Wednesday, and so we continue to treat him, and then we'll see where he is tomorrow," HC Mike Vrabel said Friday. We'll see if Brown makes the trip to Miami on Saturday. He'll obviously carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he does suit up this weekend. Browns' absence would leave Demario Douglas, Kyle Williams, and Efton Chism as New England's top 3 WRs.

Patriots WR A.J. Brown missed practice on Thursday with a knee issue that "flared up," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Brown has a long history of knee trouble and was reportedly flagged with a degenerative condition this offseason by the Rams, who were interested in trading for him. Brown's status for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins is now "up in the air," Rapoport adds. His absence would leave Demario Douglas, Kyle Williams, and Efton Chism as New England's top 3 WRs. The Patriots placed WR Romeo Doubs on IR with the shoulder injury he suffered in the Week 6 win over the Jets. We don't have any further details on Doubs' injury, but he's out at least the next 4 games. Doubs can be dropped in most redraft fantasy leagues. His absence leaves A.J. Brown and Demario Douglas as New England's top 2 WRs, with Efton Chism and Kyle Williams behind them. WR Mack Hollins (calf) is eligible to come off IR in Week 9.

A.J. Brown 'Likely' to Play Week 6
The Patriots will "likely" activate WR A.J. Brown from IR this afternoon, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Brown is about 5.5 weeks removed from a high-ankle sprain that was originally expected to cost him 6 weeks. He was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable. But Brown is evidently set to play against the Jets tomorrow. He'll carry more risk than usual coming off the injury but will be worth getting back into most fantasy lineups. We'll look for any reports on limited playing time for Brown. His return is a boost to the red-hot Drake Maye and makes New England's other pass catchers tough to trust in fantasy lineups.
Update: Brown has been activated from IR, putting him on track to play vs. the Jets.
