Matthew Golden Fantasy Overview

Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder, foot) is "trending toward playing" vs. the Panthers tonight, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Golden only got in one limited practice on the short week, adding some risk to his profile. But, unless we hear that he'll be on some type of snap count tonight, Golden will be nearly impossible to leave out of fantasy lineups against a Carolina defense down 3 CBs.

Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder, foot) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Panthers. He only got in a limited practice on Wednesday. Golden played through these issues against Detroit this past weekend, so we're expecting him to suit up tomorrow. But we'll look for further updates on his status and get Green Bay's inactives a little before 7 pm ET.

Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder, foot) did not participate in Tuesday's walkthrough. He briefly exited this past weekend's game vs. the Lions but was able to finish out the contest. We'll see if he gets on the practice field tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the Panthers.

Both Packers WRs played through injuries this week, with Watson managing an ankle injury and Golden a shoulder issue. Golden led the team with 12 targets, a 29% share of Green Bay’s 42, but he turned them into just 6 catches for 39 yards. He also briefly left the game before returning. Watson caught 5 of 8 targets for a team-high 57 yards. Golden ran 41 routes and Watson ran 38 on Jordan Love’s 47 dropbacks. Watson finished as WR21 for the week, with Golden right behind him at WR23.
