That was Greg Olsen's last year with the team; he finished 13th among TEs in total PPR points and 17th in points per game. So will any Carolina TE reach fantasy relevance this year? He secured a 5-42-1 stat line tying for a team-high eight targets. Tremble only played 46.8% of snaps through the first three weeks, but played 89% of snaps with Bryce Young in this game.

Panthers TE Ja'Tavion Sanders is expected to miss "multiple weeks" with a high-ankle sprain suffered in the Week 3 win over the Falcons, according to The Athletic's Joe Person. Sanders has been running as Carolina's lead TE, tallying 11 catches for 92 scoreless yards through three games. He's garnered just 12.3% of the team's targets, though, and is now only worth keeping stashed in the deepest of fantasy leagues. Sanders' absence will leave the Panthers' TE room to Tommy Tremble and rookie Mitchell Evans. Neither is worth adding off waiver wires right now.

Panthers Draft In-Line TE Mitchell Evans
The Panthers selected Notre Dame TE Mitchell Evans in Round 5 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Evans bided his time behind TE Michael Mayer as a freshman and sophomore before an impressive but injury-shortened junior campaign. Evans averaged a team-high 52.8 yards per game in 2023 – before a torn MCL and partially torn ACL ended his season in late October. Evans returned to play in 15 of 16 games last year, missing one with a concussion. He led the Irish with 43 catches and ranked third with 421 receiving yards. Evans’ yards per catch and yards per route fell drastically from 2023, but it’s likely that his knee still wasn’t at 100% for much of the season. He earned a respectable 7.25 Relative Athletic Score at 258 pounds at the Combine. If Evans can rediscover his 2023 form, he could be one of the better value picks for dynasty teams in this 2025 TE class.
