Tommy Tremble Headshot

Panthers TE Tommy Tremble caught all four of his targets for 46 yards and 2 TDs in Sunday's win over the Eagles. The TDs marked the only scoring passes for QB Bryce Young on the day, while Tremble ranked third on the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards. TE Darren Waller went catch-less on 2 targets, while TE Mitchell Evans saw 1 target (no catch) and carried once for a yard.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Avoid Carolina TEs

Tremble led Carolina TEs in snaps and routes. This marked the first time all season that he ran more routes than Waller.

The two tied in that category in Week 1. More recently, though, Waller had beaten Tremble by 10 routes in two straight games.

Waller's route participation dipped to 45.2% at Philly, under his 53.2% season rate. Tremble, meanwhile, ran a route on 50.0% of Young's dropbacks after entering Sunday with a 39.9% rate for the season.

We'll see if that type of shift continues, but the one-week downturn is at least enough to make Waller a shakier fantasy option for Week 7. Even before Sunday's game, his limited role made him no more than a TE2-level consideration.

Tremble has exceeded 4 targets in a game just once this season and entered Sunday with 11 career TDs across 82 games. So he's not yet much of a fantasy play either.
