Bhayshul Tuten Headshot

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten rushed 12 times for only 39 yards in Sunday’s loss to Houston. But he delivered through the air with 4 catches, 48 yards, and a pair of TDs. And his fantasy day should have been even better.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Back to an Uncertain Workload?

Tuten went untouched on a three-yard TD off the right side, but the play was whistled for a phantom holding call on TE Brenton Strange.

On the next drive, Tuten officially got on the board with a 27-yard TD reception. Tuten took a simple swing pass, then dodged a couple of oncoming tackles en route to the end zone. Later, he caught another pass in the flat when the Houston defense left him completely unmarked.

The scores were certainly critical, but it’s worth noting how much work Chris Rodriguez earned. He looked strong on his 11 carries for 55 yards, earning the fifth-most yards after contact per attempt for Week 6. He was second in total rush EPA, behind only Chuba Hubbard.

Rodriguez entered Sunday with just a 22% carry share but finished at 48% vs. the Texans. It may be a one-week blip, but his performance leaves open the possibility of HC Liam Coen going with more of a hot-hand approach. Note that Rodriguez handled three of the team’s four goal line carries.

Next up is a Week 7 bye, followed by an excellent home matchup vs. Indy. Tuten figures to remain an RB2 for that one, with Rodriguez bringing some TD-based flex potential.
