Bottom Line

Lawrence entered the league with sky-high expectations but has yet to reach them entering Year 4. He has been a solid fantasy QB but far from the generational talent he was touted to be.

The Jaguars lost Calvin Ridley, but added Gabriel Davis and Brian Thomas Jr. to try and continue supporting Lawrence’s progress. This is a key year when the team will have to decide if they commit long term.

Ultimately, Lawrence is a high-end QB2 whose talent could push him into the QB1 range if the Jaguars offense clicks.

  • His 3,736 passing yards ranked 13th among QBs. His 19 passing TDs ranked 17th.

"Good chance" Trevor Lawrence plays Week 18

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) is "trending in the right direction" and has a "good chance" to play vs. the Titans today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Lawrence's availability will reportedly come down to pain tolerance, so it'd be a surprise at this point if he doesn't play. We'll get Jacksonville's inactives around 11:30 am ET.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) will be listed as questionable and might wind up as a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Titans, HC Doug Pederson said Friday morning. “Today will be a big day for him," Pederson added." He’s progressing good. ... If he's good to go, he's good to go. If he's out there, he's rolling." We'll keep you updated on Lawrence's status. His availability would presumably be good news for Jacksonville's offense, although Lawrence would be tough to trust in fantasy lineups with the throwing-shoulder injury.
