Jaguars WR Parker Washington (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. We still don't have any details on this hip injury, but Washington isn't looking like a good bet to play vs. the Colts this weekend. His absence would leave Jakobi Meyers, Brian Thomas, and Brenton Strange as the clear top three targets in the passing game.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers. He was limited in practice all week after missing Week 10 with his high-ankle sprain. We’ll look for further updates on Thomas’ status and get Jacksonville’s inactives around 11:30 am on Sunday. Thomas will come with elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he does suit up. WR Parker Washington (hamstring) is off the final injury report and will play against the Chargers.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. ESPN’s Adam Schefter called Thomas’ injury a "low-grade high-ankle sprain” earlier this week, but he could certainly end up missing multiple games. We’ll track his progress next week. Parker Washington, Dyami Brown, and Jakobi Meyers figure to operate as Jacksonville’s top three WRs against Houston’s top-ranked WR defense.

The Jaguars are trading fourth- and sixth-round picks to the Raiders for WR Jakobi Meyers. The move comes amid multiple WR injury situations that Jacksonville is navigating.

The Jaguars are placing Travis Hunter on IR because of the knee injury he suffered in Thursday's practice, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The rookie will miss at least the next four games. We have yet to see details on the injury, but it doesn't sound like the team expects it to end his season.

Jaguars WR Dyami Brown is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Texans with a shoulder injury. His absence will mean more snaps for WR Parker Washington. We'll update Brown's status when we learn more.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Jaguars plan to release WR Christian Kirk when the new league year begins next week. Kirk spent the past three years in Jacksonville after arriving as a free agent from Arizona. He finished WR12 in total PPR points in 2022 but then lost 14 games to injuries over the past two seasons. The Jaguars planned to trade Kirk to the Steelers last year before the wideout suffered a broken collarbone in Week 8. His release will reportedly save Jacksonville "over $10.4 million" in cap space.

Jaguars WRs Brian Thomas (chest) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) are expected to play vs. the Vikings today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Thomas played through his injury last week and never seemed to be in danger of missing this one. Davis sat out last week and would be a shaky fantasy play today, especially with QB Mac Jones at the controls. Davis' return should push WR Parker Washington back into the slot, giving him a favorable matchup against CB Byron Murphy.

Jaguars WR Christian Kirk will not practice this week due to a calf injury, HC Doug Pederson said Monday. Kirk missed the final few practices of last week with what Pederson at that point called a "minor" injury. Pederson again expressed optimism today, saying that Kirk is "feeling good."

Multiple reports say Jaguars WR Christian Kirk is expected to need surgery for a core-muscle injury he suffered on the first play of Monday night's loss to the Bengals. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says "rehab for a core muscle issue is generally about eight weeks." The fantasy season, of course, has just four (in most leagues) or five weeks left. Kirk hasn't finalized the surgery plan yet and is still getting medical opinions. So you might want to wait for confirmation before dropping him. But plan on missing the Jacksonville wideout for the rest of the year. Zay Jones gets a boost in Kirk's absence, but he must also contend with QB Trevor Lawrence's injury and a challenging matchup with the Browns and Ravens the next two games. His Week 17 matchup with Carolina has also been bad for WR scoring this season. Week 16 at Tampa Bay looks good, at least. Jones currently sits just 52nd in our Week 14 PPR WR rankings. He's not likely to climb a lot higher even if Lawrence gets cleared. And he's not likely to climb beyond WR4 territory (if that high) in our Week 15 rankings. Keep all that in mind as you decide whether to go after Jones on the waiver wire this week. Rookie WR Parker Washington also came out of nowhere for a 6-61-1 receiving line against the Bengals after Kirk's injury. He might remain relevant for PPR leagues while Kirk is out, but we'd like to see at least one more game before trusting him in redraft lineups outside of deep leagues.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said Tuesday that WR Christian Kirk will miss time with the groin injury he suffered in Monday night's loss to the Bengals. We'll look for a more concrete timetable for Kirk's return, but we can at least rule him out for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Rookie WR Parker Washington replaced Kirk vs. Cincinnati, catching all six of his targets for 61 yards and a score. But he's not a viable fantasy play assuming it's QB C.J. Beathard at the helm this weekend. WR Calvin Ridley, WR Zay Jones, and TE Evan Engram should pick up extra targets with Kirk out.

The Jaguars chose Penn State WR Parker Washington in Round 6 of the NFL Draft. Washington sported one of the class' youngest breakout ages (18.5) and was an early declare. He's yet another short prospect in a class full of them, though. Washington also missed out on pre-draft testing because of the left ankle injury that ended his season early. Washington faces an uphill battle after landing in Round 6. We'll see whether he can climb the Jacksonville depth chart.
