View AllKyler Murray Placed on IR: Out At Least Four More Games
Cardinals QB Kyler Murray was placed on Injured Reserve with his mid-foot sprain. Murray appeared close to returning last week, but was inactive in Week 9. QB Jacoby Brissett was announced as the starter for Week 10, but he steps in for the next four games as the Cardinals starting QB.
Trey McBride in Concussion Protocol
Cardinals HC Jonthan Gannon told reporters Monday afternoon that TE Trey McBride is in the concussion protocol. McBride went in for evaluation during Sunday's game against the Lions, but there was no report of the injury being confirmed. If McBride misses the Week 4 home date with Washington, then Elijah Higgins and rookie Tip Reiman would be next up at the position. WRs Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch would potentially benefit from target-share boosts as well.
Marquise Brown & Greg Dortch out Thursday
Cardinals WRs Marquise Brown (heel) and Greg Dortch (shoulder) missed their second straight practices on Thursday. They're both in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Bears, which would leave Michael Wilson, Rondale Moore, and Zach Pascal as Arizona's likely top three WRs. TE Trey McBride is the only Arizona pass catcher that can be trusted in Week 16 fantasy lineups.
