Lions QB Matt Stafford is considered week-to-week with the fractured bones in his back, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. A source told Schefter that Stafford could miss just "this week or 3 weeks." This injury reportedly dates back to last season. It nearly cost him the game against the Chiefs earlier this year and evidently flared up on him at some point this week. We'll keep a close eye on Stafford's status moving forward.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Lions QB Matt Stafford (back) is "hoping" to play against the Bears today, although some are trying to convince him to sit out. Stafford is reportedly a true game-time decision. We didn't hear any concern about his status throughout the week, but he's clearly dealing with a legitimate injury here. We'll get his official status around 11:30 am ET, but even a healthy Stafford was a shaky fantasy play in Chicago. QB Jeff Driskel will start if Stafford is out and would obviously be a big downgrade for the passing game.
