The Rams acquired WR Tutu Atwell from the Dolphins for RB Jarquez Hunter. Atwell returns to Los Angeles after playing there from 2021 to 2025. Hunter, a Round 4 pick, didn’t record a touch last year behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
There’s not much fantasy impact with this deal.
Atwell is merely insurance behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. He’s never topped 6.8 PPR points per game in a season (2023).
Hunter looks like a low-risk flier in a Miami RB room that’s unsettled behind De’Von Achane. Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright had been competing for that role, but this move suggests GM Jon-Eric Sullivan and HC Jeff Hafley aren’t sold on the pair.
Hunter racked up 3,371 yards (6.3 YPC) and 25 TDs across four years at Auburn, adding 68 catches.
At the Combine, he showed intriguing athleticism with a solid 8.00 Relative Athletic Score at 5’9, 204 pounds.
The key question is how quickly he can climb the depth chart. For now, he’s just a name to know if an injury forces Achane to miss time.
